This is my first charcoal grill after a lifetime of gas. kzbin.infoUgkxBPjh-m7-eaAjTEt8BOZRSRRxXqxiI90W The food in it turns out great. Also, the ash remover makes it easy to clean.The base is sturdy and it has ample space inside.I use a chimney to get it started, and it seems pretty efficient. One chimney is enough to cook a whole lot of meat and still keeps burning. If you close the vents it cools down well making it so the coals remaining are still usable as supporting cast members (you still need fresh coals to get them going.I was going to get something bigger, but realized with coal, bigger is just more wasteful and harder to cook with.

What temp and how long ?
@TheBenzo6664 жыл бұрын
Scott Bosworth I used a gas grill and seared each side on high heat for five min each like he said then left on other side with no burners going until temp reached 125.

Did you use the same seasoning ?
@TheBenzo6664 жыл бұрын
@@ericklsx3177 I lightly covered in olive oil, used salt, pepper, and a coffee garlic rub from Trader Joe’s.

Great steak! Thanks for the tips. I grilled a 2lbs RIBEYE temp at 150°, it was delicious! I know longer want to eat steak at any restaurant dont think i can find anything better. The butter, rosemary, thyme, and garlic just melts right into the meat.

Me: Hi, my name is Mike and I'm addicted to steak videos. Support Group: Hi Mike, nice to meet you. Support Leader: Thanks Mike. That is very brave of you. Your first step in overcoming your addiction is admitting that you have a problem. We're all here for you Mike. Me: Thanks. I didn't think I needed SA (Steakaholics Anonymous), but when i sold my first child for tomahawk steak I knew I had a problem.

Next time, round the weight up to 3 lbs if you can, have the butcher leave a little more fat on it. As many have said, cut the fat, kill the meat and flavor. Doctors will want to flog you but the flavors will be worth it
@hoodieninja702 жыл бұрын
So, I had this prime tomahawk sitting in the frig....and now it's on the grill with a pan of butter below it with fresh rosemary, thyme, and garlic. Thanks, man, for turning my dinner from a really good meal to a phenomenal meal!
