This great Italian composer,this Gift to us From Almighty GOD and the Italians i am so mesmerised by the work of this Genuis, i know for many its Rossini,Puccini, Altobelli ,Scarlatti etc but for me Albinoni is my Favourite of ALL ITALIAN COMPOSERS,HIS MUSIC SENDS TO THE CLOUDS,i float and drift to A place of total peace and serenity,hope you folks love his music as much as i do

Me encanta este tipo de música, me relaja bastante y transporta a esa época barroca en la que hubo grandes compositores y crearon obras tan bellas que pareciera que son únicas e insuperables. Albinoni es uno de mis preferidos, escucho su música cada vez que tengo oportunidad, quedo fascinado con su música.

I enjoy thinking of the first concert in which he showed off his genius to a full audience and how joyful this played to their ears! Very uplifting and fanciable like Mozart! Mozart was born 1756, 5 years after Albinoni died, could they have been still playing some of Albinoni's works and Mozart picked up on it as well as the Grandmaster Bach who died in 1756? Sort of like listening to the radio at the time.

I wouldn't doubt it. Mozart grew up in a family of musicians, so chances are he would have been exposed to the works of Albinoni, Bach, and other Baroque composers. As he grew up, Mozart would develop his own way of interpreting the music of the time and end up composing music in his own inimitable style.

Vous avez remarqué le pouvoir addictif du baroque en général ? Pour vous en rendre compte, mettez donc en "bruit" de fond Albinoni ou autre (italien quand même) plutôt que ces chaînes d'info à la noix, tout en vaquant à vos affaires. Très vite, vous allez tout arrêter, vous asseoir si ce n'est déjà fait, écouter la musique. Rien d'autre.

@@wmnoffaith1 Exactly. Native Americans give thanks to the Spirit and life force of the animal when they must kill it to feed thir villages. I wondered, as I read his comments about the 349 year old music, if Antonio or Amati ever blessed, loved, and carassed the wood as they lovingly, painstakingly made their instruments and the music in them come alive.
