@Tyler K. Battle Brothers rolls are completely random and not rigged, according to the devs and statistics players have gathered. The thing is that most popular RNG-based games actually do have rigged RNG, oftentimes in your favor. For example, XCOM just straight up gives you an invisible RNG boost on all difficulties but the hardest. It also slowly gives you larger RNG bonuses when you fail too often. With Battle Brothers, what you see is what you get. When you roll literally thousands of times, you are going to get occasionally get massive streaks of both good and bad luck. The thing is that it stands out a lot more when you lose 3 guys from a string of bad luck than when you breeze through a hard fight because of good luck. The game is about stacking as many advantages as possible and being able to react when you plan goes wrong. The game would be trivial once you understand it if things didn't go poorly sometimes.

xcom does not have rng, it is predetermined, the game does not roll for chanse like this game, xcom just esides at the beginning of the round what will happened based on your team condition, difficulty, ect. xcom have fake rng

Skaven OP. I love Tamto but he probably doesn't have as much time in the game as I do. He's wrong about the rats being weak lil shits. The rats henchman can get heavy armor as well as Shields and helms. One of the rats heros gets some of the best skills for charge builds. Skaven Globadiers get OP abilities, ranged AOE healing, ranged DoT AOE, Poisen that can remove Offence points from enemies. The main ratman can apply Poisen to his weapons, use a crippling shot on 2 opponents that removes 3 OP ( or was it 4?) each AS WELL as apply either a defence or offence buff depending on which you build all in the SAME turn. The rats are only as weak as you build them. They get weeping blades which are stupid good, as well as warplock pistols which rock. Sorry Tamto I love you, but you know nothing John Snow.

No chaos is fucking stupid like that. Chaos only gives you boons when you ask for it never when you don’t. So the wyrdstone would just corrupt them more and anyway chaos would probably have bonuses for having penalties.

What if you hire a Skaven, focus Entierly on Movement and no combat what so ever, and simply make the soab run around the map collecting the Stones or doing side objectives, provided they are not guarded. You lose a fighter, but you can earn sooo much god damn money on all the wyrdstones

A lil tip for anyone who wants to farm Exp, items or Cash MONIE! Get a friend, challenge them in a battle, but your friend helps you Win, you both gather Wyrdstones and other loot, and ones all the stones are safetly stored in your box, your friend lets your soldiers kill his. I did that ones or twice with a mate, it was fun, unlocking things much earlier than you're suppose to. Course the downside is that the missions do get harder if your Leader gets too high level (IIRC!) but by then you'll have enough monies to simply replace him with someone weaker, then continue the story with your OP soldiers and Shit leader. Altho this was done some time ago, so idk if they patched that out or not, only one way to find out aye?

story missions suck eggs in this game. its just running around a massive map to bring item a to b while fire emblem level of reinforcements annoy you. good game with a lot of issues but my money's on him giving up on story missions.

My first play through was with the Sisters of Sigmar and let me tell you their all about tanking damage and hammering the ever living shit out of whatever is in front of them. They are tough as nails but the trade off is no ranged units.

JamesR3d the sisters have some of the strongest ranged units late game. They are like the skaven where you build the hero’s to be ranged units. their weakness is they are slow not undead slow but they are slow.

Tomato, you need to understand when you go into warmap and get two brutal missions.... the game is NOT going to give you anything less that hard. Reroll is more so you can reroll location, objectives, missions with more resources. Almost NEVER difficulty.

(becuase thats how statitics actually work) where as xcom thinks 95% means despite good training and a great position, your unit still has a 5% chance of being a fucking idiot

​@@the_soggster3464 yeah vamps are pretty cancer even after nearly 400 hours and that only gets worse once they start bringing their Impressive along. I've had that thing solo my entire team lmao. best way I've found to deal with terror (outside playing mostly-fearless factions like witchhunters and undead, or the sisters who may as well be) is to have a henchman who's always loaded up with Bugman's (and if I've got the money, has the Courage skill) who just legs it to wherever the action is and buffs everyone if that's not an option, sometimes the best solution is to accept their characters are going to run rampant, accept you're going to lose the fight, and just drip-feed them one person at a time to keep them busy while you fulfill your optional objective. if you get that, it's still a win even if you're wiped out.
