Thanks for the conversion narrative. When you put the mic closer to your mouth, the dialog did come through better. Would be nice to see a walkaround vid of the conversion plate, fuel tank and pull start clearance. Sounds like that horse farm is like an inn where you can go riding? That would be cool. Nice flight. Must have been on the one day it was actually warm (but was too windy here that day)

Audio sounds pretty good to me. It amazes me how well noise cancellation works considering how loud the background noise is

I’m good thanks. Went to fly a week or so ago and gas started pouring out of my carb. Been busy but hope to finally rebuild it tonight and fly this weekend too!

No float. It’s a membrane carb. When I primed it gas went everywhere. The rubber parts were all pretty crusty and I suspect the needle was stuck. It will good as new by morning

Motor was about 3200 there about. We had flurries yesterday. Warming up again. Crazy weather here.

Bob, i have a FB flypod with a Simonini. I am seriously considering purchasing a new moster 185. How difficult was it to mount? Did you have to move your fuel tank to use the diagram carburetor? Does the Moster need to use a diagram carburetor? Or would it work with a float bowl carb? Any information you could share would be appreciated!

Was fairly easy as long as you have a mounting plate. Fuel tank not moved as it’s within specs for Moster. I used unit from factory as is. Don’t know about different carb as it works well as is. Dual start is nice as not to worry about pull starter location. Does not fit with XLarge fuel tank. Why do you want to move away from Simonini?
