Great walkthrough. Attempted this on my own but not in the same order and it proved very buggy with a vanishing fuse at the conveyer belt and a glitchy double cabin. Decided to start again following this walkthrough. Proved very useful. Can't remember it being this hard on the old PS1 version, but that was a long time ago.👍😀

Sometimes I think to my self how in the hell did I beat this as a kid 😅 Than I realized somehow I finished this level without picking any weapons or fuses back in a day and I can not remember how 😅

And on the old PS1, you had these floating diamonds as save points, so every time you got killed, you would have to repeat a fair bit of gameplay to get back to the original bit you got killed...and then you got killed again...and you would have to repeat the last bit again and again, your hands oozing sweat from the effort. ​@@Eldincy

Haha, I got to the skateboard boss without acquiring the guns first. And I could not get back, so had to skip the level because I had no other saves, effectively soft locking myself. They should have blocked your access to the cowboy boss before you acquire the guns.

It’s the crappy camera angles in the remaster what makes it hard. And pushing forwards and she walks back.. lol loads of saves and loading … slows ya down a lot I think

I think I broke this level. Idk how or why but I found 1 fuse and I went to the boss level without any guns. Out of panic, I just went down the rubbles above the lava, went on the platforms and made my way out etc. I'm still running trying to find the last fuse. Randomly, I went back to the part where you turn on the treadmill to collect that fuse. So after I collect it and and I go back to where the hook is holding the cabin. Idk why or how but the frickin cabin is down on the ground and I haven't used the fuses yet! So I got guns and now, I'm fighting the boss. 🤣🤣🤣

Same thing! I reached the end of this level with no guns and 1 fuse (I never even entered the fuse room) and just being very confused. I also climbed up the area at the beginning of the level without moving the boat (it was easy?) what a mess!

If you dont get the first secret as soon as the cabin drops to the floor, it can be impossible, as the cabin disappears once you leave the area and return.

I don't know anyone who likes this level and my self included. If you ever played Tomb Raider Anniversary which was remake of the first game by Crystal Dynamic they did this level so much better

Im currently playing this level on my PS4. But its not in the shade red like in this video where you fight the bad guy.. It looks normal. Why is that?

This was recorded before any patch so I guess they changed the visuals in some of the recent patches

@Eldincy So I just tested out and they give you back your pistols, but not the other weapons. I don't think I can survive that in Atlantis lol. Especially with the big monster, and all the charging mutants lol. Was worth a try though

Make sure you got that Large Medi kit under the cabin BEFORE you put the 3 fuses in. You probably missed that one.

Interesting!! Yea your pickup locations are different than mine, I was stuck at the end with two fuses, and thought I had to go back to the beginning to get the fuse on the conveyer belt but this video doesn’t have that, yet you picked up three fuses!! I was able to finish the level without putting the fuses in, I guess their not required, very confused as to why!! But yea!! Thanks!!

If the Boulder at 4:20 beats you to the end how are you suppose to get through into that room? I glitches through it luckily. But I'm assuming you'd have to restart the level?

You can sort of jump to the corner of it. Doesn't always work at first but Lara gets though that way. Not sure if that is official way to do it but that is how I do it. But make sure to save whenever you can. With this game you never know what can go wrong

It beat me to the end the first time, I just left the area and went back and the boulders dropped again. Basically the area resets itself if leave and come back again.

Tomb Raider 1 is a masterpiece, but I've always hated this level. Ever since 96. I never did even did the fuses on this play through, I have no guns at skateboard guy

Was not remembering this level so fuked up, if you use a side jump and grab the ledge at the beginning you can skip entirely the boat manouver and go to cowboy encounter harmless, this enemy can pursue you and shoot from distance, it's a giant nightmare if you try to avoid him and go to the bottom cavern, he will keep shoot you. Even when you reach the lever on the high side of the lava cavern he will keep to shot from distance (and that lever switch dosn't even provide any indication). If you are not able to get back Magnum or the shotgun you have to fight other two turks without weapons too. And leave alone the doors puzzle. Love TR but this level was awful.
