It’s a remaster not remake. A remake is everything from top to bottom is modernised to ps5 standard. A remaster is just slight improvements here and there but not completely overhauled.

Most cut stuff was in concept art stage, entire world never designed, at most we'll see some bugfixing and maybe rebalancing, but for TR1-2-3 gameplay was not changed AT ALL, those were just graphics packages, with a few minor bugs fixed (one stuck bat and a ladder that couldn't be climbed). They'll definitely give us a less painful control scheme as controls was the worst thing in AoD.

@@KasumiRINA "TR1-2-3 gameplay was not changed AT ALL" Well that's not true, they implemented a "modern control scheme" (which makes combat a lot easier, like the TR1 mummies) and implemented a photo mode where you can pose Lara in different outfits and post-patch, allowing you to switch outfits outside of photo mode and to top it off, they implemented the DLC for all 3 of those games. So they certainly don't stop at the minimum.

@@whitewolf3051 6. It was The Last Revelation, Chronicles, then Angel of Darkness. And after Angel of Darkness happened, Eidos handed over responsibility of the Tomb Raider franchise to Crystal Dynamics from Core Design.

@@michaelanderson6394 yeah and to people who are still mad at CD, they're the guys behind Soul Reaver games, LAU trilogy and first two survivor Lara games (Shadow was by one of Eidos studios). Crystal Dynamics are more hit than miss, and Core made 5 very similar games in a row and complete mess of developing 6th. It was SO unfinished. Half the locations never made it, and it was a buggy mess with non-logical progression (Lara needs to push a SPECIFIC box somewhere else to become stronger and be able to proceed, it was ridiculous).

OH MY GOD! I'm honestly shocked we're getting this. I thought for sure because of the engine differences and difficulties we wouldn't get an Angel of Darkness remaster. It's a great time to be a Tomb Raider fan!
