I remember renting it 10 years ago, and after beating it, immediately ordered all three on Amazon. For a while I didn't play them, but then Magemasher reminded me of them, I saw his playthrough of Anniversary, and replayed them myself, remembering how fun they are. (Though I did have some frustration with Underworld)

Typically I hate water levels. But this game and Anniversary are exceptions. It is also refreshing seeing the full beauty of feminine aquatics unhindered by "fanservice". Or crocodiles (remembering Midas's Palace fire room).

It basically made the game like a giant cutscene it was always telling a story during the gameplay. They took that away in Underworld because people complained. But it became incredibly isolated without them and Lara talking to herself on the HD cam was odd.

tip for those who failed to pass the level because of the broken bridge: after you jump on the first rope, do not move Lara croft anywhere, just push and everything goes straight, she will be able to hold on to all the ropes and will arrive on the other side. I did it like that and it worked.

Yep. And for some reason that's the first version of her people think of nowadays when it comes to the name Lara Croft. Legend's Lara Croft is almost perfect, and hands down my favorite of the three, I wish she got more recognition today. The reason she is not the one in Dead by Daylight is no doubt because she'd be able to take on the killers. Maybe even the Entity if she had Excalibur or MewMew.

IMO, this trilogy is best Tomb Raider series, best Lara Croft, and this is best Tomb Raider game, Legend a close second. I don't mind people liking the Survival Trilogy, I just wish this trilogy and its superior Lara hadn't been forgotten. Ghana is also my second favorite level from Legend after England, and other than Andaman Sea (which is just striking goons with lightning on a boat in a rainstorm), they are my second and third favorite levels next to Egypt in Anniversary.

It can get destroyed by too much damage from gunfire and explosions, leaving the ropes for you to swing from to get across. You can see it get destroyed for me as well at 19:03.

There are three slow motion moves afaik, they are in every version of the game. The target practice dummy at the very start of the Peru level has a tutorial that teaches you how to do the first two moves: 1. Kick off the enemy: get close to a locked on target and press jump 2. Vault over the enemy: jump towards a locked on target and press jump again 3. Swan dive (requires two enemies): while running towards target A, lock onto target B (who is a few metres behind A), and jump towards B. Press jump again in mid-air to kick off B and swan dive in slow motion.

Make sure the statue's hands are free so you can pull them down. When you've put a box on the tile at 10:40 and then stand on the tile at 10:54 a timer begins and you have to quickly pull the thing on the statue before the mechanism locks the statue's right hand in place again.
