Ice is here in Minnesota! Red lake is locked up as far as the eyes can see! There is about 4 inches of nice clear ice on the smaller walleye lakes. The night bite is fire right now. 6-12 ft of water is holding lots of nice fish. Be safe and have fun!

Tom your videos make this look so easy. I'm gonna take the boat out Tuesday and see if I can use some of these techniques to get on some walleye. Thanks for taking us along!

Tom, thank you for another great video! I hope to meet you one day in person. You've taught me pretty much everything I know about walleye fishing and have since became a proficient walleye fisherman. I just recently had to have my right leg amputated and your videos make me feel like I'm back on the water again. I can't wait until I get back to walleye fishing and upland game bird hunting again which IS GOING TO HAPPEN. If you're ever in Wyoming look me up and I would love to help you out with a video walleye fishing in my home, and the Great State of Wyoming. Keep up the excellent videos and your always welcome aboard on the Kraken, which is the name of my fishing boat.

I’m so not ready to quit open water and winterize the boat and put it away for the winter!!!!! My Dog Remi loves the boat and go fishing with me too!🎣👍. Love your show Tom and thank you for the tips !!! Please No Dry lines is my fishing web !! The Mississippi River pool 9 & 10 ( mostly the Praire du Chien,Wi area is the closest walleye fishing we have around in our area in Northeast Iowa !! I’m thinking walleye fishing pretty much 24/7🎣👍

I have tried that area in the past. Not the easiest spots to walleye fish around there.

You should do the extended season open water bite on Big Green Lake WI. Larry Smith had a show last season on that.

Just wondering if you ever fish Sand Lake at the intersection of Hwys. 70 and 27? Walleye fishing was decent there 10 years ago

Dude everyone is putting their boats up and painstakingly waiting for ice. Still boat grinding! The extra bonus is find em now find em first ice!

Tom, do you find using a bigger minnow in the shallow weeds more productive?

Those are the Simms wool half finger gloves. I got a pair last ice season, I've been happy with them.
