How to Catch Summer Walleyes ANYWHERE!

Today we are back with another video from Minnesota. In this video the summer dog days are in full effect and fishing can be very hit or miss during this time of year. In this video I talk about pulling spinner rigs and how you can cover water to catch more mid summer walleyes. Trolling for walleye is super productive when the fish are a bit more scattered. Summer walleye fishing can be some of the more challenging fishing of the season but they are still very catchable. Thanks for watching!

I've been watching a few of your videos, and how in the world are you fishing in dog days of summer with zero water skiers, wakeboarders, jet ski's, and high speed boaters flying around you as you are fishing. I'm from Michigan and that is all you get all summer long on all the bodies of water with significant numbers of walleye. It's ridiculous, very difficult to fish in those conditions. So is it they don't allow high speed boating in Minnesota or Wisconsin, it's a crazy thing to see that so much. Wish it was so here, good videos fun to watch.

Funny I was on Pastakee last week super hot presentations weren’t working so instead I trolled not a spinner harness but cranks. Also because fish were scattered I didn’t use sonar or Di I used the map… I noticed the depth the eyes were hanging and used the map only to make passes Over areas I spotted fish 4 hours of fishing one fish then an hour of trolling BAM BAM BAM HOKED UPPPPPP

We run bottom bouncers with crawler harness too but we get our worms smoked by perch & sunnies,,,,,,, so HOW do you prevent your baits from getting annihilated by those pesky little ones? You also seem to be fishing deeper then us usually. Also, just started watching your channel and I love the content,,, especially when you show the graph as I'm not very good at reading the graph.

Rig a soft plastic worm. I like using a wyandotte crawler Pinch it off like you would a crawler. Solves the sunny, crappie, perch problem. I find the eye's bite just as good using the plastics, assuming they have good action (slow death hook). Hope this helps, man.
