I'm soooo proud of this girl after her trip to my homeland. I wish you could have all witnessed her reactions to practically everything that didn't get filmed or make the final edit. Priceless. Humbling too, to see the impact Scotland has on a first time visitor. It shocked me to witness just how much hard work goes in to making one video. Deimante is a little machine when there's work to do. She sacrifices more than you can realise by watching the final product, honestly it's amazing but pretty frustrating too, to observe all the filming/uploading/charging/reshooting/editing/creativity/stress/dilemmas/correspondence/planning/self management/logistics/final uploading... some list eh!? Unreal. But she does it on repeat perpetually. For us to watch and to build a career and better her life. We've gotta support her more. Share this video to your riding or like minded friends and contacts. She deserves a bigger audience, she never pushes this... so I am. Lets get her numbers up! Let the adverts run through, share and comment and when she finally drops some merch - show your support and grab some. She's a perfectionist and has big great plans comming soon. She won't quit at anything this chick! To see her just in pure heaven at riding and experiencing a new high in her bike life journey was a pleasure. Ultimately it's her passion for 2 wheels that drives her. It is the real deal! Watching this hard worked for video is a delight. She captured it so well and the comments and feedback are fantastic, thanks on behalf of the tomboy! Your support means a huge ammount to her. 🙌🤝 Lets bust the 50k subs barrier and push her numbers higher and higher so the algorithm starts helping this channel out.

So I know Tony, as do you, and he said I should check out your youtube, "yeah I'll check those video out" (Normally in life that means I'm saying that but I probably won't). First of all. "Hey, that's my home town!" then "Hey, that's Tony!" next, "Hey that's my home Country". Next "I really like these videos". Next, Come back when the weather's better and see some more! Watching these has been a blast, wait until you see, Barra, Harris and the ancient stones on Orkney, cheers for visiting @@tomboyabit

Another magical Scottish biking road if you ever get the chance is the A87 from just south of Loch Ness riding west to the Skye bridge and of course onto the Isle of Skye. The raw wild beauty is beyond words. It will also take you past Eilean Donan , one of the most mystical medieval fairytale castles in all of Britain. Give me a good bike and that road & I'll be happy the rest of my life.

@@tomboyabitAnother great road in that area is the coastal route to Ullapool, take in Applecross as its on route. And if you can take the back way in to Applecross as you will be stunned when you reach to top (basically don't follow everyone else, pass the first sign, if heading north, and take the second, you'll be thinking this is a bit crap, but when you reach the top its like WOW!!!!!!!!}

@@tomboyabitAnd when you go again, try wild camping, ride till you can't ride any more, find a piece of flatish ground and pitch in the darn, I mean dark, amazing experience, pitching by feel, not a sound to be heard, and of course you get to wake up and see what a mess you've made of putting your tent up the previous evening

Glad you enjoyed and welcome to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 So many great roads in Scotland, for me A894, A838, the Drumbeg coast road is special as is the Spean Bridge to Fort William road, top road Cape Wrath-Tongue, most of A85, Callander-Lochearnhead, Linlithgow-Avonbridge-Slammanan, Lennoxtown-Fintry ‘Campsie’, Granton-on-Spey to Aviemore, Great Trossachs Path, Edsel-Banchory road and the Braemar-Glenshee ‘Lecht’ road, GlenDevon Muckart to Crieff, Devil’s Bathtub - Moffat, lots of good riding roads in the borders. also a couple of the roads into the back of Callander are special, as is the Moray fifth coast road. Applecross famous, Duke’s is good but not the best. 🏍️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
@tonykeast9966
@tonykeast9966 Жыл бұрын
Now that's a comprehensive awesome list! The A93 is my real favourite, but it's long and dull getting over to it. But always worth it in the end. Applecross, the entire journey is the ideal route for her next time. With all the island hopping options and scenery up there being so special. It's actually a bit overwhelming for a keen visitor to try and hit every sweet spot. Add youtubing into the equation and it'd take her weeks and a solid month to edit it. 😂. Might just happen tho!

Can you feel my envy from the states? Maybe you can get a Shoei RF-1400 with a" Transitions" shield. Gets plenty dark and changes to clear very quickly. One less thing to pack and fiddle with. Yes, riding alone is the best. Whenever I rode with others it almost always turned into a race. Now I just race myself and always win.

100% great recommendation. That whole area was mentioned while planning this, but the weather was worse down the borders on spare days 😢. I wanted her to go from Girvan to Newton Stewart and then on to hit the Dalveen pass. I love the Galloway Forrest area on my blast back up to Ayrshire. Or the Moniaive way to Kilmarnock. It's wild how many options we've got in the lowlands alone! Dei's reactions were brilliant eh?

Lovely vid the best bike and second best roads in uk, well i would say that as i live and ride around the brecon beacons mid wales , the beacons and north wales are the best biking rds, my favorate gear i found on the 8s are 3rd and 4th, the bike just keeps given , i have now done 1200miles in 5 weeks the power is useable the gearchange and suspension have smoothed out and as for the quick shifter i use the same numbers , what i mean by that is when changing up 2nd gear above 20 mph and above 2000 rpm 3rd above 30mph above 3000rpm and so on , when changing down its below the same number such as 6th to 5th below 50mph 5th to 4th below 40mph 3rd below 30mph and 2nd below 20mph i always use the clutch 2nd to 1st, and at the moment i find these speeds give me the best and smoothest changes on the quick shifter keep up the good work lovely to watch thanks
