You could have gone to the Clachaig Inn which is a cracking place and just near the service station you fuelled up at and there's also a really nice camp site next to it too called the red squirrel where you get to wake up at the base of the mountains and sometimes are surrounded by stags grazing in the morning 🤗

Coming from Scotland, i did Scotland. Almost all of North to South, East to West on two wheels, before i decided to expand my horizons and do Europe. Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France but for all the miles that i did, i struggled to replicate that feeling i got from riding those miles back home. North of Scotland has something extra(apart from the obvious twists and turns)

Thank you so much for your comments about my country. I'm 65 now and been all over on my bike, but always make a point of going through Glencoe at least twice a year. It soothes my soul ❤

Beautiful dog, beautiful lady and beautiful country! There is so much to explore in Scotland. Having only been once I feel like there something around every corner that returning is a must. Who would dislike a video like this?

No such thing as bad weather in Scotland, only the wrong coat. Hopefully you can find better gear for your next trip north. You have only scratched the surface of what Scotland has to offer 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hi tomboy_a_bit, great video. I have been coming up to Scotland for 34 years by motorcycle and riding bikes for 49 years and never driven a car. The scenery is stunning everywhere, I was up in June and had lovely warm sunny days and nearly always have lovely weather. I think may or June or September are the best times for good weather. I stay in bed and breakfast as I don't like camping. This is the first time I have seen your channel and really enjoyed it and will look out for your next one. Safe riding, Best wishes Roy.

Hi there baby girl. I did that road a couple of times. First time on a Kwazki 900, sadly right off by Volvo pentioner. Then a Z1330I . What a 2 week trip. Once in 1982, then again in 1990. I abbsolutly loved it ,I live in Wales now. Saddely no looger a rider. Relive our live for us. Deimante Keep up the good work.

8:22 Jimmy Savile's house! I grew up in that area (Kinlochleven), used to thrash my bikes up and down Glencoe. Also, take the Road to the Isles, Fort William to Mallaig, some lovely riding on a good day.

@@tomboyabit Next time, turn off a Tyndrum for Oban, the run down Loch Awe is excellent. Then Oban back to Ballachulish/ Glencoe. Turn off the A82 at Glance to Kinlochleven, a nice run round Loch Leven through Kinlochleven will take you out on the otherwise of the Ballachulish Bridge. From their head to Fort William and the Road to the Isles. This will take you past the Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter!) and on to Mallaig. Not many options from there, back to Fort William and then head North to Inverness. Along Loch Oich, Loch Ness etc. Very nice road, better early or late in tourist season (also the time with the better weather, though cooler). Inverness is obviously the start of the NC500 but leave that for another time. Instead head toward Nairn and take the A939 to Grafton on Spey., Tomintoul, Ballater. From there I'd turn towards Braemar and then to Couper Angus and Perth. A nice wee Highland Fling and if you like whisky you could detour a bit to visit some distilleries on Spey side. Not lived in the UK for 25 years and about the only thing I miss is the good roads in the Highlands.

Here is a suggestion. Ask Monika (Freddie's Lithuanian Lady) . She has good fashion sense, and experience in looking for good womens riding gear. A beautiful video Dei, you have now made me also want to go to Scotland. Bad weather is part of the Scottish riding experience... it probaly would not look anywhere near so beautiful and mystic if it always had weather like in Thailand!

Mosko Moto has the Rak Overpant. You can wear your jeans and when it gets chilly or wet you take the Overpant on top of the jeans. Full zippers on both legs makes it easy. Water an windproof and you won't freeze.

I live just along the road from Comrie Croft, the stretch of road from there to Tynedrum is amazing on the bike. It's a shame you didnt have a bit more time though, if you'd been able to go further north it gets better and better. Edit: Just got to the end with the question about gear, I have a set of Richa touring textiles that have managed to fend off all the weather Scotland has managed to throw at me, and I got caught in some serious downpours last year. its got a thermal liner and a seperate waterproof liner so its really versatile.

Clothing. If you haven't got anything yet. I would have a look at Moto Girl products. And also Roadskin products. Both very good product, and very competitive prices. I often head to glencoe from here on the east coast, for a cup of coffee and a nice cake in the summer months. Happy trails 👍🏼👍🏼

With regards to cloths ,,,Yes a F.....en nightmare ,,unfortunately I am also one of those people that like to look good ,,and I search and search and never find what I really want ,,,my experience has thought me that the Italians tend to make the nicest but very expensive. One brand I have noticed and I use them is ( Held ) and ( Akito ) but still not perfect. I think it is time to start a new motorcycle lady's and gents cloths line .lol

Wow that was your very best offering of Scotland so far & truly you've only just scratched the surface. All over the UK is such an incredible place to ride a bike, but on a good day nowhere touches Scotland . It reminds me of a quote & I may not get it quite right or even to the right person, but I think it was Enzo Ferrari who said," There are no words to describe passion, you can only experience it !". On another note, I don't know if they do a woman's specific?, But Revit make a laminated waterproof jacket called the " Trench GTX ". It's a Gortex laminated so doesn't get anymore waterproof, it's very understated but I think very stylish ?. ( I personally loathe jackets that look like they were stitched together from multiple countries flags & also look like a corporate billboard). I've had mine for nearly a year now and it's the best jacket I've ever had.
