Indeed. I understand the reasoning behind the newer version of her - more relatable, all that - but let's face it, if she'd come first, she would have never conquered the world of pop culture like the original did. Old-school Lara Croft doesn't NEED to be someone we relate to, any more than James Bond does - like him, she's a figure of badass fantasy; we can only imagine ourselves being as cool and snarky as her.
