As a mature student, I had to get a C for biology when it wasn't one of my options at school. My work commitments meant that I had no choice but to self study and your videos have just been amazingly useful. Fingers crossed I did enough on paper 1 on Tuesday.

Does the accommodation decrease when someone has Myopia? So lets say someone has 4 Diopter Myopia, will that Accommodation become 10 instead of 14?

Hello Tom I'm biology teacher too. I have a question. The ciliary muscles of a normal eye are in their most relaxed state as then the thickness of the lens increases, thus increasing focal length. So how you say the ciliary muscles are contracted when we look at near distance? 🤔 I think when we look at far distance then the ciliary muscles contracted
