Laake White To be fair, the last time the virus got absorbed, it got right back out and infected Alpha again. By chucking it to the outer regions of the map, it's not likely to affect anyone unless they specifically fly in that region for no reason. I will say this is a vast improvement over the original series. The story telling was great and I think the animation is better than previous installments. I think the only thing I had an issue with was the color scheme and redesign of the main cast but as the episode progressed I got used to them. I am actually a little bummed for not donating to the previous campaign so I will probably look to doing that in the future. Thanks for all your hard work!

Christopher Niosi I must agree, the new character designs are not as good. While they're fine appearance-wise, it's the colors that really ruin it for me. They don't mix very well, and it's really distracting, especially with Flamegirl and Nylocke. Otherwise, this was a great premiere (the Duke Nukem cameo really sold it for me!), and I hope the season stays this good, and hopefully be somehow better!

Completely agree with this. I do love the series, and the episode was great, but the character designs and colour-scheme was not as good as before. It does look good, yes, but still not as bad as the originals. What really put me off though, was Nylocke. His hair has not only gone from ginger to yellow, but he looked better with the cartoony design he had in the previous seasons... I also think Kirbopher is a bit too blue, and GC is a bit too pinkish purple, but those I can get used to. Though I believe I, and possibly others would enjoy the show more with Nylocke's old design and colour scheme. I thought it was perfect! (hopefully constructive)Criticism aside, I do love this show, and wish for you to keep up the awesome work! Tome is by far one of the webseries' I love the most, and I am looking forward to future episodes. Keep up the good work, Chris!

This was awesome! I think what they're fighting, or rather, are gonna fight, is either just a projection of Zetto (since it has the same look and animations as in the Gemini tournament) that the NetKing they're going to fight is able to use (that would be awesome, by the way), or it is just the "corpse" of Zetto given new life, perhaps as a puppet. His body DID remain in the game at the end of the previous episode. Maybe it never despawned. I can't wait to see what Chris is gonna give us next episode! Loved Kirb's eyes at the end of teh episode, by the way. Excellent plot twist, if I'm allowed to call it that. But really though, something smells fishy. Like I said, the "Zetto #2" has the look of the old model. We saw his new look earlier. So what could this mean? I'm betting on the NetKing either way, I think. Gotta add, I simply LOVE the new songs! :D

I believe if it's like what TTA was originally, then this guy is RubyRulz. He was the character designer of the game, he can basically morph into any character and use their abilities. He was netking number 3 in TTA.

Correct, and RubyRulz did use a crystal in the original that made up part of his attacks. The crystal/mirror acting like a dimension where sent attacks through to the opponent.

2021, I came back to watch this from my childhood. I loved it's creativity and imagination in the entire series when I was younger. Now as I'm older, I realized I still love it's creativity, freshness, and the uniqueness it brought when it was made. While we have some media that takes MMORPG style stuff, TOME was always one of my favorites. Not to mention how the main admin said that he likes all the avatars - I do too. It's all so creative, even if some of them only get seen once, it really feels like everyone's got their own story to tell like a real MMO should. Perhaps this is long winded and annoying, but I've also started playing the game that came out and damn I do not regret the purchase. It still gives me that fresh vibe brought from the animations, even back in the first iteration of TOME. Thanks for making up my childhood man.

Gamecrazed Theory: Okay so my theory on gc is that he is actually a computer program created by the netkings. I have a few pieces of evidence that support this. 1: in episode 2 gc goes to the mansion and hides in it until he confronts splat and defeats her. After she is defeated he asks how nye and kirb knew splat was coming, which would imply that he was going to the mansion to confront her because he knew she was coming, and the only way he could know that was if he had access to the locations and information of all the players on tome, which he would need to be an administrator or program to have. 2: In a lot of scenes throughout the series he seems to have foresight about people attacking them, which would mean he would have to have locations on all people like he did in the mansion with splat. 3: in episode 4 when the group is talking about meeting each other in real life Gamecrazed says it's not possible, not because he lives too far away or that it's too expensive, but that it's impossible. 4: he never really shows a lot of personality. 5: in episode 5 when alpha transforms into his beast form gc tells flame girl and nyelocke to leave and when zetto tells him that alpha lost against him, Gamecrazed is very clearly surprised, which suggests he knows about the forbidden power and what it can do. In fact, I think that Gamecrazed is a program designed to combat the forbidden power itself. Webmaster and the other netkings must of have heard of the forbidden power at some point, and they would obviously try to take steps to contain it. So, they created Gamecrazed as a way to combat the forbidden power. If yours agree with me or have any comments, reply to this comment.

However, and this next bit is a spoiler from TTA- so while it won't be entirely true, you won't get the same jaw drop next episdode. This is another netking entirely- he designed the character creation and his character reflexts that by...can you guess? Character Mimics. However because noone has seen the _new_ Zetto, he uses the old Zetto model.

Yes, Kirb is Zetto, was confirmed in Season 1. I dunno if that actually counts as a spoiler but its pretty much too obvious now. Also, notice the new looks. Zetto and Kirb both have shoulder pads on the same arm. ;D

You know, as much as I love TOME, the way things are drawn looks a little worse than season one to me. (Maybe it's the color palette) I don't know, season one looks a little more...professional to me. I do like the redesigns of the characters and battle grid, though! It still looks good, and I'm sure I'll get used to this new style, but something still seems a little off... It'll be nice to hear why all these changes were made whenever a commentary comes out for Ep. 11. *Sighs* Sorry. Who am I to judge this? I've never animated a single thing in my life. And besides, the scripting, voice acting, soundtrack, animation, and everything is still great! When has more TOME ever been a bad thing?

This serious is just as good as it was before, except there's one problem. The new designs aren't quite as like able as the old ones. Gramecrazed was more interesting to look at in darker purple. Also All of the new skin colors aren't very appealing, except for Kirb, he looks great.

Great start to "the next season". I really didn't like the new look for the big characters. I hate to be harsh, but it looks like the old characters were put under a single-colored filter. Not the most inspiring new look.
