See some of the top Street Outlaws guys that headed up North to Cordova, Illinois to use the drag strip there to battle it out in a Nuclear No Prep event that they put on in April of 2018. Racers such as Brent Austin (Megalodon), Jeff Lutz, Chuck Seitsinger, Reaper (Deez Nuts), Doc Love (Street Beast), and Ryan Martin's Fireball Camaro all showed up and put on a great show of No Prep drag racing.
It was seriously cold out during both the Friday and Saturday race so I give these guys a lot of credit for doing what they did for the show up here. They actually were in the middle of filming the Street Outlaws show down in Oklahoma and they ended up having two weeks off from the show so they decided to quickly put on this event to fill the void in there schedule. Great video I must say. Just like one of the people in the stands said "even B Rad won on a DQ". I really admire Lutz, I truly do. However that was Docs money I edited only to respell b rad 's name.

Thanks for watching Jared. I did feel bad for Doc not winning, he put a lot of effort into this race. I do actually feel that with a double red light they should have given it to the car that left closer to not being a red light. But I guess Chuck and Reaper had already put this rule into place even before the race started, so I can respect that. It is there money they are putting up for the prize. TomEighty

Nice to see Lutz win but I feel bad for Doc. He deserves to win this event with some of those killer passes he put in. That last pass looked like one too many for his motor. That's one of the main reasons Doc needs to change things up and put either a pair of 98mm turbo's or an F1-X procharger on that mountain motor. Nitrous setups are just too high maintenance. I honestly think Docs motor would be an absolute beast with turbo's or a procharger.

And that's the difference between a turbo car and a NOx car making multiple passes. The NOx cars hammer their equipment harder and those later rounds count. Congrats to Jeff Lutz and his bad 57 turbo car !!

There was a loud bang that came out of the car right as he let off of the gas at the 1/8th mile and I guess he bent some valves in one of the heads. He did a live feed on his FB channel and was showing that he got a new head in right away and was putting it on in his garage back in Oklahoma. I was hoping he would clean house in this race and show what his car can do. But I guess it wasn't his time... once again. ha ha. Thanks for watching! TomEighty
