In bellyache (to me at least) she is perceived as a psychopath. The first lyrics of the song, “ sittin all alone mouth full of gum in the driveway. My friends aren’t far in the back of my car, lay their bodies.” Makes it known that she killed her friends and hid their bodies in her car. This just leads to the video, which makes it look as if she’s running from the law. This ties to another lyric from the song, “They'll be here pretty soon Lookin' through my room for the money” makes it known that she most likely robbed a bank of some sorts and ran. This all ties together when she gets caught by the police because of her “crimes.” To me the flower represents her sanity and when she gets caught she drops it realizing it’s no longer within her grasp.

I also like how the first couple of lyrics that you quoted further prove the psychopath thing. She talks about just sitting on a driveway chewing bubblegum, and then talks (sings) about how she killed all her friends right after as if it's nothing to her. That is a detail that's really overlooked but that I find amazing

for the part where “they’ll be her pretty soon lookin through my room for the money” i thought it could be that someone paid her to kill them, or she’s making money because they’re dead, or she’s laundering money. also, for where she says, “where’s my mind” and “i lost my mind” she is losing her mind because she can’t stop thinking about what she did and is becoming insane because of it
