@@rudai123 Roads and public schools are not socialist programs. The majority of roads are built by the private sector. Very few roads are built by the Federal Government. Public schools were created by state and local governments so that poor children would be able to get education as well. They were never intended to be the primary source of children's education. The only difference between Social Security and what Bernie Madoff did was that you weren't legally required to give money to Bernie Madoff. And I'd love to not take Social Security and Medicare when I reach retirement age. Which, btw, hasn't been 65 for decades. Just give me back all the money that was forcibly taken from me as well as the interest. If the people who were forced to contribute to the Social Security pyramid scheme when it was first implemented were allowed to invest that money in the Dow Jones instead, then they would have retired with over two million dollars of savings. Instead, they got a pittance of a monthly stipend while the Federal Government spent their money on government bonds. Medicare is so horrible that people are forced to buy supplemental private health insurance to actually pay for their health care needs. A practice that was left untouched by Obamacare, because Obamacare took one billion dollars away from the Medicare system each year. Oh, btw, when you look at the cost of Johnson's War On Poverty, which launched Medicare and Medicaid, you'll see that the amount spent is equal to America's National Debt. That's not a coincidence.
