Living in the United Kingdom (UK) offers a diverse and culturally rich experience. The UK consists of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, each with its unique culture and landscapes. Here are some aspects to consider if you're living in the UK:
1. Healthcare: The UK has a publicly funded healthcare system called the National Health Service (NHS), which provides healthcare services to residents free at the point of use. As a resident, you'll have access to a wide range of medical services, including doctor visits, hospital care, and more.
2. Education: The UK is home to some prestigious universities and schools. Whether you're looking for primary and secondary education or higher education, there are plenty of options available. Education standards are generally high.
3. Weather: The UK is known for its variable weather. It can be rainy and overcast at times, but it also experiences sunny days. Winters can be chilly, and the summers are generally mild. It's a good idea to be prepared for different weather conditions.
4. Cost of Living: The cost of living in the UK can vary significantly depending on the region. London, for example, tends to be more expensive than other parts of the country. Housing costs, transportation, and daily expenses can add up.
5. Transportation: The UK has a well-developed transportation system, including trains, buses, and the London Underground (Tube). Owning a car is optional in many areas due to the availability of public transportation.
6. Culture: The UK has a rich cultural heritage, with a diverse population and a long history. You'll find a wide range of cultural activities, museums, theaters, and historic sites to explore.
7. Work and Employment: The UK has a strong job market with opportunities in various sectors. It's essential to understand the visa and work permit requirements if you're moving to the UK from abroad.
8. Diversity: The UK is a multicultural country with people from various backgrounds and cultures. You'll find a mix of traditions, languages, and cuisines, making it a culturally diverse and inclusive place to live.
9. Legal System: The UK has a well-established legal system based on common law. It has a reputation for upholding individual rights and freedoms.
10. Brexit: The UK left the European Union (EU) on January 31, 2020, which resulted in changes to immigration, trade, and other policies.
Ultimately, the choice between the UK and Canada depends on your preferences, goals, and priorities. Consider factors like climate, job opportunities, lifestyle, and immigration options when deciding which country aligns better with your aspirations. Both countries offer unique and attractive opportunities for residents and immigrants.

Besides the flexible immigration system in Canada and the size of their houses, the UK beats Canada in everything else. It is no brainer.

So the main reason an immigrant should leave the comfort of his home and culture and be in any western countries is to quickly get a settlement, the UK is rigid with immigration policies,u pay with everything in d UK,UK is actually overrated and very rigid

Given the challenges you've outlined, I'm curious as to why you chose to relocate to Canada. Moreover, since you've only recently moved, it's debatable whether you're qualified to speak on certain topics like entrepreneurship, disposable income/the exchange rate. 1. In Canada, there's a higher disposable income. 2. Canada consistently ranks in the top three for ease of doing business. 3. British accent can be thick with slang, Canadians typically speak clearly. 4. Due to Canada's vast size, it's impractical to have a transport system as integrated as the UK's. 5. The UK weather can be gloomy and unpredictable, with less sunshine than many parts of Canada. 6. Property prices, especially in cities like London, are exorbitantly high in the UK. 7. The UK has a higher population density which can lead to overcrowded areas and strain on public services. 8. The Brexit aftermath has brought about economic uncertainties and potential trade challenges for the UK. Perhaps in a subsequent video, you could discuss challenges in UK such as pervasive systemic racism, smaller homes, narrower roads, limited disposable income (despite the appealing exchange rate), bleak immigration/settlement status, fluctuating policies, and inadequate childcare benefits. While I also reside in the UK, I'd opt for Canada every time.

Yes I do agree with you on some issues but the uk is better than canada I cant even lie. Canada just has a more friendly immigration system 1. Things in Canada are very expensive especially food and clothes 2. Cities like Toronto in Canada is very very expensive with housing 3. The uk has a better currency 4. Most of ur disposable income in Canada is spent on food and housing 5. The uk has a bigger economy 6. The uk is very central and you can travel to other countries 7. The British passport is stronger than the Canadian one 8. The uk has a better education system 9. The uk has a more active and has more opportunities than Canada. 10. Canada has a more harsher climate 11. The uk is very diverse and multi cultural 12. The uk is a world power whereas Canada isn't. So yeah

Ya that’s the advantage of living here in Ireland too, you can travel to places in Europe and other locations like Morocco and Qatar, every where is from like an hour to like max 6 hours. People take multiple trips, visas even with a Nigerian passport take less than a week and all

Nice video Tomi .The sheer size of Canada means public transportation is almost impractical. For context, Ontario is almost 5 times the whole UK in land mass with the population under one-fourth of the UK. So nothing like high streets, corner shops etc 😂

The cold you experience in the UK when you enter the house I think has something to do with the old brick building and most are not insulated...and I love the UK but still prefer Canada😊
