Inspector711 I never said smokers couldn't sing. But smoking damages the vocal chords almost as much as it does the lungs and heart. Even though some smokers are still good singers in spite of their smoking, they'd sing better (and live longer) if they'd never smoked.

I've been a big Paul Carrack fan for decades. Great to see him on stage with Clapton-- both of them playin' the hell outta this fantastic, timeless song. I was reminded that when this song first came out, I thought it was performed by a black group, with black lead singer. Nope, instead it was one of those extraordinarily inspired and soulfully talented Brits. Where would we be without all their incalculable contributions to modern music? Hard to imagine, right?!

Eric is such a gracious man and the rendition of this classic is ten times better then the original or any subsequent versions. You can SEE both artists getting into and off on the moment the song is merely a conduit to playing a new version with the best vocals by Paul and truly the best clean soulful breathing shake it up smooth enjoyable lead solos (both) by Eric... my favorite is Paul looking out at Clapton from the keyboards like a fan getting lost in his talent.. it reminds me of Keith looking Charlie back to audience because in that moment its about the music and him getting off. In this fake Arthur Murray learned dance steps and sampling ... It so liberating to see and hear real authentic artists in the moment!

👉 How did all my favorite artists get old? *Why am I an old??* LOL! Didn't mean for that to happen... I was supposed to be cool... forever! Oh well, anyway Paul is still in great voice! Never get tired of this song!

Already a fabulous song. Add in Clapton, who could make Row, Row, Row Your Boat sound like a musical classic, and you have a special performance. Bravo!!!

I saw them do this in Charlotte, NC in '13. I was floored to hear my guitar god EC play on one of my favorite "on-hit" singles from the 70s. It was awesome. I was born in '78, so obviously I never thought Id get to hear this song performed. Clapton is God- Ace kicked ass, too...ZP

Saw Paul Carrack last night. If Angels sing they would sound like him, his voice is just something else. As my wife said to me, when you hear an artist like this it makes you realise how woefully inadequate X factor contestants and judges alike are. Fantastic.

gibson335mega hear hear.even my kids think todays music sucks (as they say) and constantly dip into my collection, and my grandkids are now picking up on it by listening to the who, stones, beatles, clapton, floyd etc, they cant get enough (paul rodgers).but that crowd? what a boring bunch, polite clapping when they should be jumping about, but then,it IS switzerland, that well-known party capital of europe :-|
