definitely could have used smaller wheels and more tire. if you worked the night shift in a warehouse it'd probably do well on a polished concrete floor. (or if you worked night security for an office building, the marble floor in the foyer lol)

I love your vids man, still my favorite rc channel, and im more of a military vehicle rc guy. I love that you cover more than just the big 3. I dont own a traxxas, arrma, or (insert 3rd big company of choice here), but i do have about 7 fully functioning, heavily upgraded rigs right now, heng long, wpl, wltoys, eachine, redcat, and all of them rock after some upgrades!! I also appreciate seeing exactly what parts you use to dial in your rigs. Your insights are very beneficial!! 🤘

I got mine about a month ago. I found the lights to be annoying so took them all off. Re-assembled the rear diff and it handles so much better now. In case someone is interested, the steering is a hundred times better than the UDI 160X series. I even managed to find some hex-adaptors so standard 12mm hex wheels can be used.

It's cool as can be set up in drift mode. 19mph for $60 is a very affordable thrill ride. It's great that the price point exists like this in RC. Like the A959, it definitely performs well above its cost.
@flightpath222 жыл бұрын
I agree. Looks like fun at least. And with a few reasonably inexpensive upgrades it could be a pretty awesome little runner. Repainting that body in the style of Billy Gibbons’ ZZ Top Eliminator would be totally rad!

I really like the more classic look of the body. Makes it stand out, but that spoiler definitely has to go
@3Y3ECE2 жыл бұрын
These little cheapies are actually a ton of fun to upgrade! Being so small and generic inside (the parts), you have many more aftermarket part options than say WPL or the like. At that point you are looking at 3 different scales or rc's that may have parts for it, one scale up and one scale down and the scale it is. Not to mention the cheap electronics needed... An ESC for this could be between 10-60 bucks, at your disretion. Radio and receivers can be as little as 20-50 bucks, great ranges with those radiolinks and dumb orcs (dumborc, i play d&d so its dumb orc to me). Love that body too, lots of options there!! Definitely a better spoiler, better lights (and a few more if you want accurate indicators and such) and tires/wheels... triple its price to make it sing and youve got a fully upgraded ready to ROCK rig!! Grat vid man, forgive my rant, but this kinda car fires me up lolz
@Genrou1382 жыл бұрын

The body is kinda classic looking. I would definitely upgrade it down the road after having some fun with it first. Shocks may be 1st upgrade. The indicator lights are definitely annoying. All in all, it looks like some cheap fun.

@modelnutty65032 жыл бұрын
cool, you threw in the Peanut "zheome" clip. I'd call it hobby grade because you can add oil filled shocks and adjustable steering+suspension links, fairly easily. about same as the little "4DRC Sniper" AWD truck I'd just picked up for 55 bucks total (tax etc). I like the body on this and I'd ditch the wing thing too, the wing is just funky, could rip the body.

having watched the video now though, I can't help but think that apart from the different looks of it (which are pretty cool), surely something like the FTC tracer or comet, or the UDI 1601 brushed range would be a better option for only about £20 more? from what I've seen, they're either more "hobby" grade, or at least a fair bit less bouncy. Still, it does seem cool, with different light options, and variable speed settings. Also, I do like the shorter video! one thing (from an uneducated pleb, so feel free to ignore): doesn't the youtube algorithm like prefer vids over 8 minutes? so close, but so far, if so!
