As you've noted with all these skaters, your videos just keep getting more and more refined. As far as I know, no one in any extreme sport is making state of the industry/sport/art content at this level all on their own. Of course, if blading had the numbers of the other sports - you would no doubt have 300k+ subs. You're killin it Tom. Oh, and......Illia.

@@TomMoyse well for this list obv Ilya missing. For sure subjective who got greatest impact let’s wait and see about that. Other names on my list are for sure less impactful than those covered or turned out to be 30 already when I now checked.
@TomMoyse2 ай бұрын
@@JoZenk I had Ilia on a bigger list and really considered his position but he didn’t make the cut. Part of the reason being, I think all the names on this list have either already had or will go on to have a bigger impact and be more highly regarded. I feel like the novelty side of his skating has taken a much bigger stage than his abilities. I wonder if he would have anywhere near the amount of attention he does without it. He’s clearly very capable but so are a lot of other skaters. It's interesting to me that he has all the creativity for gimmicks on social media but doesn't have the same level of creativity for his tricks. In terms of social impact as well, which people will site as his main strength, he has less followers than Air Dolphin and Air Manatee, two people who also play that same game - and also Ana Julia and Nicoly Machado who just post their skating have more followers and bigger reach. He's a good skater, a great skater even but IMO not top 10 under 30

A lot of the time I would skate with skaters who were very extraordinary, I was very extraordinary myself. I would have to ask is a game of blade or something that is daring one another a sanctioned competition? I became quite chilled after I learned to grind big rails. I couldn't quite skate rails as well with technical tricks but would still skate rails rarely but with ability and prowess.
@Summerskies4112 ай бұрын
Usually I would skate half the rail with top side and alley oops but skate the whole rail with souls frontsodes and backsides.

Amazing video but I think it would be best to separate the categories cuz I feel like most of these GOATS comes from street skating while some freaks from park and vert gets put in the corner, like Haruhi getting 2nd in vert losing only to takeshi and Ana Julia da Silva winning winterclash amateur at 14y and fise pro and last but not least Jaro Frijin killing it in every contest
@TomMoyse25 күн бұрын
Thank you. I put them altogether for that reason. Vert/park skaters get less attention. Videos dedicated to that will be watched less, so including them in this video brings more eyes to them. I also have multiple videos dedicated to the youth of rollerblading, cover street/park and vert.

Most are wizard skaters when compared to Aragon. I've been skating for over 35yrs, yet few really stand out above all.
