You're a hero for posting this. This was bar none my FAVORITE thing about visiting Wisconsin Dells every year of my youth. I thought I'd never see it again. Bless you, sir or madam :-)

I used to love Robot World. I went there a lot as a kid. It's a shame it's gone now. I would pay top dollar to do that again. It's not like it's an outdated concept, robotics is currently a really popular, sophisticated, and ever-growing field of study. Come on, Tommy Bartlett, bring Robot World back!

DrummermanMatt I didn't realize it was gone! I loved that place as a kid. I was trying to find out of it still existed and came to this video and your comment. Such a shame they closed it. Do you know which year it was closed?

I wish it were still like this, my Dad took us here every summer growing up in the 90's. It's really depressing things have to change.

Thank you so much for sharing this!!! I went back years later and was extremely disappointed when I saw how they had changed it. This is way Robot World should be remembered.

Tommy Bartlett was a midwestern trash genius who's entrepreneurial vision would match even Disney's at that time. He now designs Burning Man installations and art cars

Hey, I wonder if the robots here are controlled by servos that were salvaged from 1957-59 Ford Skyliner retractable hardtops!

who was the comedian who performed at the Tommy Bartlett's 30 years ago. He did sounds of trains, birds, etc. My daughter who was 16 yrs. old loved him. She has since died and I'm trying to find the sound trac he gave her. Any help.
