Many thanks for this share. I'm always interested in hearing these lesser-known big bands who may have had regional fame. This band seems to have had a long and successful run in the Western PA area. A very enjoyable set!

So glad you enjoyed it. Tommy Carlyn had a great band. After Larry Faith became the leader, the band began to tour nationally and made stops in Memphis, Chicago, New York City. Kansas City, Denver, Virginia Beach, and many other popular dance locations around the country.

Yes. The arranger, Larry Faith, was one of Guy Lombardo's arrangers from 1949 through the early part of 1952. Tommy Carlyn's Band was more in the Sammy Kaye style than Lombardo. But excellent, nonetheless.
