@That70sGuitarist
@That70sGuitarist 5 ай бұрын
Absolutely right, Clark. Before he became famous as a comedian, Tommy Chong played with a band called "Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers." They eventually signed with Motown, and had a Top 30 hit with "Does Your Mama Know About Me?" Before the band members hooked up with Bobby Taylor, they were known as "The Bachelors," and before that, the "Calgary Shades," a nod to the group's multiracial make-up. (The Shades included half-Chinese Tommy, a Puerto Rican, and two or three blacks.) Tommy Chong caught a lot of flak from the other members because he would sometimes refer to the band as "three 'Ns' and a 'C'."

I've been playing for 6 years and one day hope to get as good as this. I believe that you haven't achieved good tone if your neighbours all still have full use of their hearing. I will have arrived as a guitarologist the day my last neighbour goes down with tinitus. The battle for the hearing loss of my neighbours ensues......Keep up the good fight at your end brother. Dont let the bastards grind ye down, with their banging on the walls and their calling of the cops. Let them eat chords. Let them feel the shock and awe of your palm mute style. Corny horror movie type senseless death to cheap amps and silence, and lots of snuggles, Reggie "Sponge Mute" Fuzz-Bomb

That sound is a Strat with radical bending of the tremolo bar (ala hendrix). The tremolo bar can take a lot but, they break off if you slam the instrument into the floor. -in front of the amps feeding back .

Hahaha Even to 2021 still makes me laugh my ass watching Cheech & Chong making a shit load of shenanigans that so so funny to this day. My dad got me into them when I was only 8 years old & my mom would get so mad at him for introducing me to the first movie & then second one was just over the top. We'ed laugh until we're on the verge of tears I swear to god! lol My fiance & my Ma roll their eyes thinking how stupid it is while me & my Dad have a good old time watchin these classics. Good memories man! 🤣 Lmao!
