Ive wanted a story DLC that goes through Tommy’s journey through Seattle since the game came out. I always wondered why they never did it, bc it would make a lot of sense and would provide a lot of cool moments.

Definitely! It'd be awesome to see. I also expected them to do something like this in the way they did Left Behind. I can only assume that they didn't want to add anymore to the story of Part 2 as it might come off as hammering in the same themes as the main game, and it'd be quite expensive to build 😂 would be cool to see more little stories in this world from other characters though!

I’ve always wanted a prequel explaining the 20 years, a DLC from Tommy’s perspective would’ve been really cool, showing Tommy’s naive belief in the fireflies, the desperation in Joel and Tommy’s survival tactics and the eventual separation between the brothers. Would’ve been hella cool.

The idea of a Tommy story being implemented into Part II has being stirring in my head ever since the Remaster was announced and so far this has just such a perfect version of that. All the flashback transitions feel so well placed and I love how deep you're diving into Tommy's emotions, history, and thought process. Thank you I can't wait for Part 2 :)

Hey guys, first of all: Holy fuck. I truly cannot believe the amount of attention this little channel has been getting over the past couple weeks. I've nearly doubled my subscriber count thanks to you guys, and I truly appreciate that. I had convinced myself that people would react negatively to this video, but I've been blown away by your kind words. This is the first bit of my own fictional writing I've put out to the world, and I promise it won't be the last. As for the second half of this video, it's taken quite a lot longer than expected to get it off the ground. I've had a hell of a lot on my plate in the past few weeks so I haven't had a ton of time to work on it, and it's also a project that is costing money due to the commissioned storyboards and I got real broke for a bit. That being said, I've revised the script a couple times to make it (hopefully) as good as I can make it, and have been scooping up some more required footage and setting up the rest of the storyboards. I expect the video to be with you *within* 2 weeks, possibly sooner but hopefully not any later than that. I've never had such demand for a video on this channel so I just hope to give you guys something to enjoy! I send my love to you all and hope you'll stick around for future videos. Hello folks. I've been ignoring making part 2 for too long. I did a decent bit of work on it tonight and have plotted out my workload for the next couple weeks. Time to give myself a deadline. If it kills me, Unbroken Part 2 will release on Friday April 12th, 6pm GMT. If it doesn't, feel free to berate me and my son. If I have one by then. EDIT: Ok. Spoke to my storyboard artist about how long he’d need and now I’ve got an updated Final date. April 20th. See you then! Edit 2: because the world really loves blocking my shit, it's gonna be a few more weeks. My storyboard artist is on holiday and my drawings wouldn't even be worthy of the family fridge 😂 can't be helped, I'll keep working on it in the meantime! @@MalpasDan Something to consider as I was rewatching this - what if Tommy and Marlene have a romantic relationship? Could fuel to the tear between him and Joel. Building a new relationship and hope for a new world and joel sinking deeper into the basic need to survive no matter the cost.

I’ve always been interested in the world of last of us and what happened in between the time of the out break and the first game, and also what happened in other places in the world. I’ve always wanted more last of us games about that but the chances of that happening is low, so these type of videos are the closest we will get in the mean time. 9:55 does that mean that for the duration of the encounter, Tommy would only have the revolver since he chucked his pack? Or maybe it's an optional MacGuffin, that you can expose yourself to get it quickly, or play it safe and retrieve it after the fight ends.

Since he'd be diving towards the bandit right after, he'd be within reach of his pack in order to pick it up quickly without any trouble once the first bandit is dead. But good question! It could work either way :) it does sound pretty cool to have the choice between getting risky to get your gear or bring more cautious and making do with just the one gun.

I think a great DLC idea that would fit TLOU's narrative greatly would be Tommy's time spent with Joel during the waking years of the outbreak. The general theme of the DLC would once again be "purpose" when there's nothing left. This "purpose" would be explored through both Tommy's gruesome years surviving with Joel at any cost, being directly compared to Tommy's life 20 years later, where he has lost Joel, his wife, and has become a broken man with no purpose or reason to keep going, especially upon the news that Abby is still alive after Ellie had let her go. The general idea would being to explore the idea of what Tommy's next step in his life will be, as he remembers his time spent with Joel, and how he will make his coming decisions based on his memory with Joel, and that dark time he had spent with him.

I think it would been better if Joel or Tommy pretended to be injured and ask for help to stop that RV instead of shooting out the tire. This would tie into the first game when the hunters in Pittsburg try it on Joel and he sees it a mile away.

Tommy in both pt1/2 is there for the beginning and near end. That concept where we could see Tommy Seattle day 1-3, could also stretch with flashbacks to pt1 seeing not only what Tommy was doing before Joel showing up, but more interestingly the 20 years with Tommy and Joel we don’t know. It lets Joel be present, maybe even let us play. We can learn more about Tommy becomes, how does he get to the fireflies and what is Joel up to prior to pt1. This alone could serve alongside a pr3 with Ellie and mimicking events that transpire and are related for the Ellie story. There is a lot I think they can do for a Tommy smaller game or literally part of 3

I remember seeing the promotional art works that Sony/Playstation shared, I think it was for Horizon(?), that showed tons of different cities across the world in a post-apocalypse nature and it just made me want exactly this. Stories in a universe like that of TLOU that travel the whole world.

I think a prequel game that follows the atrocities that Joel & Tommy committed would be a better suit for a Tommy story. At some point in the game we get the fallout between the brothers & Tommy joining the fireflys. I think that any story following Tommy will be a welcome addition to REMASTER the company. Personally I don't believe we will see a real Tommy DLC at this point. I believed quite firmly that we would get one after Part 2 came out in 2020, and thought it might come out with the inevitable re-release of the game, but once this new remaster was announced and didn't include an expansion I was sure we wouldn't see one. I do definitely think we will see other stories in this world though, whether they are focused on Ellie and the existing characters or a whole new cast.

Here’s the deal. Should this be a DLC? Maybe. In reality part 3 should be a Ellie and Tommy focused story. I didn’t care for the main plot of part 2 at all but Tommy was a big part I liked. Keep this sort of plot but with more flashbacks with Joel, focused on the years they had to do jobs, maybe even new main characters to get killed off or go their separate ways. Hell, even have a younger Bill make an appearance. I’d say put Tess in there but I believe her VA passed away so it would have to be recast or avoided. The actual plot of part 3 has to be something bright. The rise after the fall. A good story ending for Ellie and Tommy. That way we get all of this cool stuff plus more in a FINAL game. They shouldn’t make any more TLOU after 3, they’ve already milked this franchise. But with just part 3 following a similar plot, I think a lot of the fanbase would come back.

TLOU Part III shouldn't be tommy or any characters we know. It needs to have a new character, but it should have a story mode and then a alternative mode showing new characters stories all short like DLCs but In it should have tommy in it

@@MalpasDan Yeah, They also have a full TV show to show what tommy did. So in TLOU Part III they can have like Ten, more or less, stories and one of them can be a short story about tommy. It would allow us to have a full story with new characters and exciting story concepts.
