Delightful. Crisp, bright video clips Thanks for sharing. I think most would agree that the King Sister's first take was the best - the ending much better than the second take. What a shame that this wonderful number and also "I Should Care" with Bob Allen & The Sentimentalists were deleted from the movie - "The Thrill of Romance," 1945.

Very nice montage, I love Tommy Dorsey, Buddy Rich and when Edythe Wright was around, Jo Stafford with The Pied Pipers , Young Frank Sinatra, Jack Leonard all good for that band!

I was surprised to see the King Sisters with TD on the second song, I always associate them with Alvino Rey, in fact, Alvino was married to one of them. It might not be coincidence the Rey is spanish for king, especially as his real name was Alvin McBurney!

Drummer Buddy Rich hated ballads and you can see it on his face. Great tune and performance.

The great TD band, complete with strings! Matched only by the legendary Glenn Miller AAF Orchestra with its 21-member string section.

Buddy Rich looks bored out of his mind playing drums with brushes in his hands lol.

Awe...Buddy Rich one of my favorite jazz musicians, I guess he was not in his element yet here. One of my favorite quotes is by him "there's only 2 types of music good and bad."
