This is the most level-headed discussion I've heard so far about AEW. Everyone else seems to have their niche concerns/complaints when in reality what is there to be concerned/complain about when the company hasn't presented their product yet.

Dreamer gotta be one of the most humble guys in the business. Great interview. Skilled, smart, and honest. I liked him Then, Now and Forever. ;) Looking forward to AEW. Might be just what the wrestling world needs.

Instead of comparing wrestling contracts to sports contracts, I feel like it’s better to compare wrestling contracts to actors. The supporting actor doesn’t get paid as much as the huge box office draw.

I'm ready for aew to announce there tv deal I think that's gonna have a HUGE impact on there success, if they get a deal with like a BIG name company it's gonna be huge!

Tommy Dreamer is always a Class Act. Wish he would run a House Of Hardcore show in Richmond, VA (wrestling history). Let's just enjoy the changes in the business as fans and see what happens. We can always speculate, but opinions are like @$$holes...

I like some parts of WWE. I like some parts of Indy wrestling. I thought there were lots of great cards offered last year from everywhere. All in was one of the best shows of the year, so if AEW offers more of that I'm excited. I think WWE will be pushed to do better, and that's great for mainstream fans too. This should be great for wrestling all around. Just hope AEW doesn't try to be WWE. Just be more of what 'All In' was and they'll be more than fine.

For the most part, Tommy Dreamer was spot-on. I do disagree with the pay scales on drawing power, but as a promoter I'm sure he doesn't want to see crazy contracts thrown around. I do believe any promotion not aligned with a wrestling school or academy doesn't have it's head on straight. As a fan, I don't want to see The Elite in NJPW, AEW, ROH and then popping up in Big Joe's Pro Wrestling in Montana. Overexposure is a turnoff. Lucha Bros is a prime example. They are everywhere, and now when I hear they are on a card, I actually sigh. Not because they are horrible, because they're quite good. But because I already seen them in MLW, IMPACT, AAA and caught them on a PWG event and some one-off appearance here and there. Signing the darlings is fun, but homegrown talent is where this business is heading.
