superbe performance sur le titre " padre" à 35 minutes. un toucher invraisemblable. de toute façon, c'est simple . à chaque fois que je regarde une video de tommy je crie " c'est un truc de fou !!! c'est dingue ! "

Great chord progressions. Amazing grace is Amazing. More difficult than most classical music and he plays it all by ear. Doesn't read music. Mind you he's a genius at Chord Charts.

Tommy was just insane back in the 2000's. I highly recommend you download and keep that video before it gets deleted one day. It may be 5 yo but nothing is eternal on KZbin.

You can see the difference in his guitar playing after he was mentored personally by chet atkins, his guitar playing just exploded to a whole new level around 1998.

But no . He was never supervised by Chet. On the contrary, in the CD with Chet, it was he who did everything. He was influenced by chet records but that's it.

Would love to see Tommy Emmanuel cut heads with marcin patrzalek. I don’t see why they haven’t already. Marcin, is the only one can keep up with Tommy, at full throttle. Most terrifying acoustic shredding. Nobody plays like that. Jaw dropping skills.

A la guitare ! Sublime instrument. Mais c'est hélas une résurgence du passé. Après Douai c'est de DGP qui s'est éteint, puis La grande soirée guitare de Gravelines, puis les Guitares de l'espoir. C'est triste...

Oui c’est vrai ... mais Douai et Dunkerque ont péri parce des gens introduits ont voulu transformer ces associations commencées par passion. Politiquement intéressé ils ont forcés des tendances différentes et les concerts qu’organisaient les premiers n’ont plus été , les concerts ont attiré de moins en moins de gens ... les créateurs ont finis par s’écarter et la vraie passion des restant étant inexistante : fini !! Y’a toujours des emmerdeurs , des trous d’balle , des moi-je .... qui s’imaginent qu’ils vont faire mieux . Mais ils ne liront pas cette réponse car il ne se souviennent probablement pas de Tommy ...😉

@@jean-louissart7074 Sans doute, sans doute mais j'aimais bien cette époque qui m'a reconnectée avec la guitare (le picking en particulier) que j'avais abandonnée dans les années 80... Tout n'a pas été perdu !
