Like his song titled "The Finger Lakes," Tommy uses a capo which I believe helps him achieve the resonant treble ringing effect you hear on these songs. His guitar is also miked to the max to bring out the acoustic qualities of the guitar itself. The guy is an absolute master guitarist and musician.

I saw him live and it was the best. I even go to meet him and he just as gracious and humble as he appears. This is the kind of artist that we should hold up as a role model not someone like the no-talent Lady GaGa.

@Guitarfan0 Gaga was here a day before him. She sold out the biggest stadium in Czech Republic. Tommy had like 100 people in one underground smelly club. I just don't get it. But we made sure to make it worth his while and applauded like crazy. And he seemed to enjoy it nevertheless. :) This man is a must see live. These clips or studio songs are all right, but come nowhere near live experience. Especially for the lack of bass and because he saves the best tricks for live performances.
