Tommy is beyond.Regarding other comments about "ostentatious" yes he is showman using all the tricks in the book and to good effect;he's a performer who happens to be among the world's best musicians and a great entertainer. He wants and deserves the attention. The harmonics are astonishing and beautiful.

My ears and brain reiceive this Beatles song as one of the most BEAUTIFUL six string lyric performances ever. I am an old Beatles fan and listening to Tommy's enhancing this ingenious melody to the very utmost of excellence makes me glad every time I feel the addiction to return to this beautiful guitar playing.

My god I wept. I just listened to about a dozen other guitarists play this piece (or try to). Then I found this, Emmanuel's version. What a master. He makes this song sound as though it was flowing straight from heaven on the wings of angels. Thank you, Tommy. You are one of the few golden reasons the human race may indeed be redeemed in the end.

Tommy is a constant source of inspiration, not for his technical talent, but because his tunes amaze people. He has a great gift, he can let out his feelings playing the guitar. He can compose a song in just minutes, because he plays as easily as we talk in our main language. Don't be scared and look under the crust, there's a whole new world of music and magic

Tommy and his brother Phil were both pretty much child prodigy's and have been performing since they were little kids. They have been famous in their home country of Australia since the 1970's. It took the rest of the world a bit longer to discover Tommy. He has generally been regarded as the world's best acoustic guitarist for many years now.

Absolutely beautiful. Tommy has such a passion for music and it certainly shines in his playing. An unusual version of Michelle surely but snatches of the melody are detectable and I love the way he plays part of the melody just using harmonics. The harp-like sound is just gorgeous. I don't think there's anything Tommy couldn't play on the guitar and he just gets better and better.

I see him every chance I get. He is this generations Chet. There is no one on earth (if you think you can - then post) that can bring this level of guitar to the height of TE. This piece in particular takes the harmonics to a level that is unprecedented. Again, bring it if you disagree. But don't waste anybody's time with B/S. My ONLY hope is he tours somewhere in the NC/SC coastal area so I can take my day and uncle (both 80s+) to see him in person. I've bought the DVDs, we've watched the TV specials, but until you actually see TE, you don't understand. God Bless. "rock on" r
