Can’t believe Tommy James is not in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame. I didn’t know that. Crimson and Clover is probably one of the greatest rock songs ever.

Whole lot of talent up on that stage, Tommy and Joan playing and singing together- that awesome song, doesn’t get better than that. Joan still looking so young- I swear that girl must have vampire blood in her. Tommy still hanging in there like a champ also.

In the 80s almost every young man including myself, was "in love" with Joanne Jett. Only saw her once, at The Palace in So Cali, she was awesome.

No matter how old U are, if U can still play like that----go for it..... Joan now is 62----she looks great and still sings outstanding. 62 is really the new 45..... Love both of you. I always like Joan and her cover of Crimson and Clover. They played it together well although Tommy is the original. Go back and listen to Tommy James old songs, he was a visionary in Rock and Roll.

Love T.J. and the Shondells. Saw them, late 60’s at “The Surf” Nantasket Beach, Hull, MA. I was 16 or 17. Those were the days and that was “the place” to go!

As a fine wine gets better, Tommy has taken his vocals and sound into a new dimension of greater sounds from what I thought was previously (originally) could not be topped . I believe the Lord has helped him graciously sing better . I will be listening often times . Almost went to concert when in Texas however friends truck had problems .

I was in grade school listening to Tommy James and the Shondells I love this song Crimson and Clover talk about size of a 45 I love this song then and I love this one now so obvious that Joan Jett did a great rendition of a great song Tommy and Joan are great together here love it.♥️

Crimson and Clover was always one of my favorite songs, and Tommy James had so many great hits. I agree he belongs in the Hall. I also agree it is an odd place with lots of mismatches - artists not admitted who should be, artists in who had like 1 hit and shouldn’t be…. Tommy will live on thru all the covers of his great songs.

There is a plaque here in Monroe, WI... Tommy's dad was manager of a hotel here on the square and Tommy went to the middle school here. LOL

Awesome version! While in college I took a girl, an exchange student, to see him live and arranged to have her meet him backstage for a chat, photo and autograph. I thought I scored big. The next time I saw her she introduced me to her boyfriend. But I still have the live Tommy James experience so, I'd say I still won.

I lived with a beautiful girl years ago that I loved to dance with her 💕to this awesome song in a small pub in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I will never forget her and I always have a place in my heart ❤ for her. 🎶

I had an opportunity to go to his concert a short few years ago a great good time... you could tell he was tired from a long several months on the road, and he took time to talk and meet with his fans after the show Signed CDs, t-shirts, and books. A great guy and Entertainer.

I remember the first KTel recording of Crimson and Clover, that I heard when it was first released. Just a kid living in Valemount BC at the time. The effects and arrangement totally blew us away. Good times! 👍🏻😎

Man I’ve always loved this song, so simple but absolutely memorable. That whole doo-wop sound from the 50’s added in other generations of music always gets me. The 80’s had a lot of the 50’s sound in it, which is why I still love the decade.
