Tommy James and the Shondels. But he left the band and went on his own. This song came out after they broke up. It was one of my favorite groups.

Decades ago, had to be '69, Tommy James was in Hawaii and was presented with an opportunity to play on a " farm" in upstate New York, Tommy declined.
