Reaction... It is very much an Irish guy on board the boat who is going to emigrate at the poker table in the movie scene. In the same scene, a Swede stands up and swears in real Swedish at the Irishman who is trying to swindle money from the Swede. It ends in fights! Hence the Swedish flute in Tommy's version! We have wooden flutes in Sweden that have been around for over 300 years.

Your assessment was dead on for being an 80's metal cover. It was a 90s song converted to 80s metal by Tommy. A lot of people thought he mislabled it but I could already tell just by listening to it. And I grew up on 80s metal so that was a big plus for me.
