Yes. I have the Scorpions original on my sleepytime song list, and I love that "haunting" quality, which is in the the guitar sound too somehow-I love it so so much. Also I love Tommy's voice, cannot deny the beauty and power, it is amazing. His version is a power ballad, and the guitar sound again mirrors that. The original had a little softness to it, haunting as you said-almost like he's thinking back on the relationship while in it, knowing that it won't work despite the love. This one is shouted out, as if the person is still in the relationship and is confidently saying we can do this. The vibe is completely different, and both are absolutely beautiful.
