+Chrystian Danucalov -- whoever made this little featurette tried to make it more interesting than the actual solo, because once you've gotten over how immensely insane this idea is - and how incredible a stunt it is - it's pretty much Tommy Lee just playing basic beats to some house music that really and truly sux dog's balls. It's fantastic, memorable, awesome... and the actual amazing part is that he can keep good time while being suspended at every devil's angle in a 360-degree loop that is itself moving. But again - bad choice of triggered music. As he is on his way back to home base, they should stop the spinning and keep him level as he continues in to land, so that he can do some proper drumming as the band starts a song with him still in transit. Because on the final few feet of the coaster - no matter how daring and innovative it is - the hopped-up crowd is already bored of it. And they've torn their eyes out from those shit hip hop triggers.

I realize I'm 5 years late here, but you don't need to put solo in quotes. He was indeed playing solo. I know the music isn't for everyone, and why he chose to drum along to remixes of other songs and to some dubstep stuff is pretty bizarre, but Mötley Crüe has never done anything by the book so I love it. Lastly, the edit is pretty bad.. it's from a bunch of different shows and it just doesn't blend well.. either way, hope you're doing well 5 years later stranger!

This is an innovative design. But man, I'd rather hear an old fashioned knock out, drag out, multi-fill, pedal thumping kick ass drum solo like he used to do. I'd take the 90 degree tilt or the "tilt-a whirl" solo anyday. I am very surprised that Nikki allows this with the so called "music" that Tommy uses. This is the main reason why I am not seeing them on this "last" tour. Very un-rock and roll. I see him losing integrity among rock drummers, as I am a drummer myself. Who's with me? That is one hell of a crap editing job. Hint: it would be helpful if you stayed on the same shot for more than 1/2 of a second so that the viewers could have a freaking clue as to what is going on. BTW, how many shows on this tour did they have this drum solo in? There were a lot of shows in which the structure was too big for the venue to handle (such as the Atlanta show that I attended). That in and of itself shows how little planning went into this. Great idea--shit execution.
