Was having my pic taken with him once at a party, he was so drunk at 2 in the afternoon that we fell over backwards, and all you can see in the picture was his big 'ol feet up in the air. LOL. Then that night, he performed perfectly. Have seen them several times, and it is always fun! Before I had ever seen them live, Vince came once and sat in with me during my midday radio show for a couple of hours at the infamous ZOO, just to hang out, no interview. He gave me front row center seats so I could see Tommy's rotating drums, backstage passes, the works. My daughter got chickenpox the day of the concert. I felt so bad having to miss the show. My goodness, that was about 30 years ago! They are super nice guys. Nancy in Dallas LOVES the CRUE!!.

That was some razzle dazzle...would love to sit behind that kit, jam away and experience what that's like...i imagine it would be a bit difficult regards if you could play or not. Bad enough to have to be lifted up that high, let alone...having to KEEP A FK*ING BEAT!! Impressive! As a youngin', I imagined playing drums upside down on a platform rig that lifted up and turned upside down. This is a whole three levels up! Toms and Kick are stationary. Striking symbols upside down seems like a totally different experience. Right-side up, they go down when hit. Upside down they fall up. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING has to be carefully secured to the platform. This is phenomenal! Don't know why I haven't seen this until now. This is not only rock concert history, but also live performance history.

It amazes me that after all these years, he hasn’t improved at all. This is not a drum solo. But, he’s making more money than me....and getting hotter women, so I guess I shouldn’t hate on him too much.
