@juanwork8794 Tommy was a beast. Very fast, powerful, athletic. A damn solid heavyweight. He was actually my favorite fighter ever. Standing directly in front of George Foreman for too long isn't a good idea for no one. But Tommy did turn his back to George and skip away a few times, but I don't blame him at all for that. And you're right, he used the ring very well, and boxed a masterpiece. Much love and respect for Tommy. He was great, and very missed by me.👍

@@keithdefreitas3399 George took punches from everyone, no problem. Only reason Ali Ko'ed him, is because George was exhausted, and got rope a doped, then fired on with a fast 6 piece combo. Tommy Morrison still hit harder than most heavyweights, of that time.

I am by great lengths not a fan of sport fighting (of any variety). However.. I am impressed. I do not know much about the sport, or their ages ect. But, Tommy looks quite a bit younger. And George, older and more out of shape. And yet, George seems calm, collected, and fair about his fighting style. Seemingly very honorable. And just keeps taking the hits, and doesnt stop coming. He seems to be keeping Tommy on the defensive the entire time. Seemingly wearing him out. Even with Tommy taking quite a few shots that I would deem "cheap". And George, not at all appearing to be worried or concerned about him. Impressive, George. Both in toughness, and in honor. Nice.... 😌

No it wasn't at all. You can't even compare the 2 fights. How is this fight like the one we just witnessed?

Great fight. Foreman even at that age was fearsome. Dared you to hit him as hard as you could while he took it and kept coming at you. Probably the most demoralizing thing a boxer could feel other than maybe not being able to hit someone at all.

If you're gonna be an easy target, better be able to take a punch. That is the great George Foreman.

Never heard of Marciano, eh? Or Jerry Quarry. Quarry would've beaten Morrison, because Quarry had an iron jaw, not a Morrison jaw

@brianmorecombe2726 12 күн бұрын
@@milojanis4901 Marciano was a brawler and beat a faded Joe Louis and Quarry got brain damaged because he used his jaw as his defence and took peds.Morrison fought a purer style of boxing like Jack Dempsey.

@@brianmorecombe2726 Rocky Marciano was extremely tough. Tougher than most people realize. His short arms did him justice. He was hard to hurt, and when he did get hurt, he'd come back and knock you out. Jerry Quarry was tough, but that's it. Tommy Morrison had way more speed, and power than Quarry.

@@brianmorecombe2726 No one barley ever talks about Jerry Quarry, and for good reason. He was a forgettable tough punching bag, literally nothing more.😎
