Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use
Fair use
Additionally, the fair use defense to copyright infringement was codified for the first time in section 107 of the 1976 Act. Fair use was not a novel proposition in 1976, however, as federal courts had been using a common law form of the doctrine since the 1840s (an English version of fair use appeared much earlier). The Act codified this common law doctrine with little modification. Under section 107, the fair use of a copyrighted work is not copyright infringement, even if such use technically violates section 106. While fair use explicitly applies to use of copyrighted work for criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research purposes, the defense is not limited to these areas. The Act gives four factors to be considered to determine whether a particular use is a fair use: the purpose and character of the use (commercial or educational, transformative or reproductive); the nature of the copyrighted work (fictional or factual, the degree of creativity); the amount and substantiality of the portion of the original work used; and the effect of the use upon the market (or potential market) for the original work.

FIGHTER. He was never much of a boxer. That's how Ali beat him. Physical force alone was not the way. Morrison would definitely have lost if not for the age difference. But you're right. Tommy Morrison was no joke. He was widely derided as an overrated "great white hope" but he was a legitimate, elite heavyweight in his prime. For Foreman, at 44, to take some of Tommy's powerful blows and just keep advancing like that? And to go the distance, no less? Truly amazing. Great slugfest here no matter how you look at it; massive respect to both of them.

Foreman is one scary man to fight against. At one point he took a 3 power shot combo in sucession and kept walking forward like the Juggernaught he is. He doesn't give you any breaks. He seems unphased by 99% of all punches. The fact that I can hit him in the chin with all my strength, and he will continue to approach me is the stuff of nightmares!

I remember seeing this fight live all those years ago. I was surprised by how well Morrison moved. Clearly he and his corner knew not to make the mistake of standing in front of Big George and thinking Tommy would knock him out if he just landed one or two of his famous big left hooks. My goodness Big George had an incredible chin! Another thing I remember, which is not shown clearly in this highlights video, is that at one point late in the fight, George had Tommy stunned and Tommy was there for the taking and George didn’t pull the trigger. He was asked about that in the after-fight interview and said he deliberately didn’t knock Tommy out at that point because he saw him as a young man with a great future, or something like that. It was surprising. It made me worried a bit for Foreman because someone who bet on him and lost a pile of money might have been rather upset, and done something about it. There was a later fight for Foreman, against Shannon Briggs. I think it was his last fight. Foreman clearly won, but the judges gave the win to Briggs. Foreman was remarkably gracious, right after the fight, saying the judges had spoken and congratulating Briggs and telling him to be a good champion and make sure to avoid drugs and so on. And I remember Briggs, who looked very surprised at having been awarded the win, was responding with “yes sir, yes sir” and being very deferential to Foreman. Foreman was, and is, an amazing human being in many ways.

Young guy picks a fight with old guy. Although he won, the old guy will never have any problems with the young guy again 🤷🏽‍♀️

In my opinion Tommy was a very underrated boxer , it's sad that he could not overcome his demons. R.I.P. TY for the upload

Very much underrated, unfortunately hindered by drug use and out of the ring antics. Him and Tyson would have been an amazing fight.

@@DillonM13 Unfortunately, while Tyson vs. Moorer may have been a great fight, it would have always ended in Tyson's favor with Moorer scoring the odd knockdown or two only to see Tyson rise and use a quick 1-2 or a strong right hand or uppercut to knock Tommy down. Tommy was a beast, but his chin often didn't hold up. That is the reason he lost so many critical rights like the one against Mercer and Lewis (Although not many boxers could have survived Lewis's shots). His power was his boon and his average chin was his bane.
