"If the contempt is particularly severe it can amount to a criminal offence" You forget that TR bravely fled the country before a court appearance for multiple counts contempt of court, has shown no remorse and in the words of the judge "has no prospect of rehabilitation". All of which escalated the offence from civil to criminal. TR also pled guilty to the offence, so even he admits he broke the law. Being a multiple offender, inc violence against a police officer , proves he cannot be rehabilitated, so no punishment except prison would be good enough. In my opinion, since he has dual citizenship he should have his British citizenship revoked and be deported to Ireland after he completes his prison sentence.

Cat A’s and Cat C’s are the worst prisons in my experience. Cat A the violence is worse but cat C is everyday. You’re unlocked most of the day and they don’t have the staff to control it properly. With cat B’s you only get out for 30 minutes yard time and 30 minutes association which is enough to have a shower and fill in any apps that need doing. So you only get fighting on canteen day if you’re don’t pay what you owe. If you’re not in debt and carry yourself correctly then you won’t have any issues in a Cat B. Cat D’s it’s a totally different situation no one wants to lose their D cat status so people stay out of fighting unless it’s very necessary in my experience.
