Tommy onced again used Techno for hiding him from Dream after Tommy escaped exile. Techno said he wanted to destroy lmanberg with Tommy but Tommy didnt agree and decided to fight along side lmanberg. Wich also means Tommy betrayed Techno *again.* And also, Tommy never thought Techno as a friend, and Techno knew all along. So your commemt wasnt an insult but a fact except for the end. If you meant in character, thats pog. (Sorry for bad grammar)

I think it counts just not as one of his 3 main lives. I think the non canon deaths do count as deaths,they are just not bothered by them that much. I like to think that the server itself decides what is a canon death or not.And that when a canon death is coming or when there is actual danger,the characters feel it.I think all deaths are canon,just in a different way.I like to think that the "non canon" deaths do hurt but so much less than the canon ones.Since i don't wanna break the fourth wall,i can't mention writers.So instead i say it's the server itself deciding what is a more important death.I'm bad at explaining things but i hope some people understand what i'm trying to say.

Someone else came up with this theory and now I’m scared af Spoilers for Tommy’s stream: also tw: death, and suicide (it’s just a theory tho) So ummm did anyone else feel like Tommy was talking almost as though he was going to die? And that got me thinking. what if it was Tommy who stole the nuke? And he is planning a suicide mission to kill Dream, where he uses the tnt canon to open a hole to get in and then when he reaches Dream he detonates the nuke which would kill both of them? He also was talking about doing it for the greater good, so what if what Wilbur said to him in the afterlife about how they “made the server worse” got to him and he thinks it would better for everyone if he died again but this time taking Dream with him?

i did get something wrong in this video: techno didn’t take a canon life from tommy - all 3 of them were taken by dream (final control room, duel, and prison). thank you to the comments that clarified this to me! these videos are a one person job, so i’m bound to make a few mistakes here and there, but i will be sure to proofread my scripts a few more times next time. i hope the rest of the video is still helpful to you! 💜 edit: yes, i know that the disc is far, not cat. i just needed a pic of tommy holding some discs and that was the only one i could find heh. contrary to popular belief, i also am not drista.

Just a little clarification, from my understanding, Tommy's original deal with Techno was that Tommy would only help Techno get his armor and tools back from L'manburg, and that he'd only participate in minor acts of terrorism, in return, Techno would help get the discs back. It wasn't until just before the community house incident that Techno revealed that the only goal the whole time was to destroy L'manburg completely. Tommy, sort of agreed? but was very on the fence about it when the Community House thing happened and Tommy realized he wasn't being true to himself or his friends while he was with Techno. This is what lead to the betrayal I believe. What I think is most important about this fact, is that Techno is NOT absolved of blame in the situation. Techno claims he was clear in his intentions, but he wasn't. He was only really "clear" at the very very end, and left Tommy with no other choices, and refused compromise. While Techno has every right to be angry for being treated like a weapon, Techno dose have to realize that he is not the only victim of betrayal here. The problem with Techno's character is very much his mentality on "His way or the High way." Its anarchy or death with him and he never once dose he think about the consequences of Anarchy on anyone except him and maybe Phil. Sure he and Phil would thrive in an anarchist world, because they have the power and skill to do so, but what about everyone else? What about the people who cant defend themselves, or those who don't have the resources to fight? Are they just too weak to have the right to exist? If that's the way he thinks then I feel he needs to look at himself a little more before accusing all government officials of being Tyrants.

These innocent civilians would have little to do with the plot other tan collateral but they are important nonetheless. These are the mother's and children and the weak who would not be able to defend themselves in Techno's version of a perfect world. Another thing, so the relationship was rocky, so? dose that give techno an excuse to be dishonest and then claim otherwise after? another thing is I'm not painting Techno as some sort of evil villain in this situation, I'm saying I'm tired of everyone pretending that Techno did nothing wrong and is somehow absolved of the consequences. I'm also not painting Tommy as some saint either, he made mistakes and the betrayal was fucked, but it was reasonable. I'm saying the situation is so much more gray then people like to portray it as and I'm sick of pretending it's Black and White. I mean what would you even do in the same situation Tommy was, would really choose the guy who told you to die in the past, is making you feel like you've become a different person you dont like, and destroyed your country, beat you in a pit and told you the only universal language was violence, and almost gave you back to your abuser for no reason, over your country, your best friend who exiled you under tremendous pressure that you've already expressed understanding of, and literally all your other friends? And either way it was a loose loose situation because both ways he becomes a traitor. its betray Techno or L'manburg and I can tell you the fandom would react the same way for both options. There was no right answer.

20:31 well if you really think about it the reason dream became the way he is was because of trying to preserve the pease between the server, But then changed more and more as he started to realize he cannot stop tommy from causing chaos, So be exiled him, Then is when he started to change himself. He started manipulation and then realized that tommy could give him leverage over everyone, That was his Evil Ark, but even in Prison, dream still thinks that he was in the right, and tommy has always thought that dream was the evil and he was the good. My head canon is that Tommy's chaos drove Dream insane. Dream started as a peace keeper, and became an agent of chaos with the intent of absolute control.

I think your on to something but I don't think he was drove him insane more like gave him epiphany. When dream took the disc and saw how much Tommy was fighting for them he realized how much they meant to him and notice that if Tommy loves this so much then everyone else has to have something the same value. Dream realizes that instead of negotiating and telling people what to do and what not to do he can rather manipulate then with the things they love to get them to do what he wants. You can call dream a peace keeper but what you call peace is different in every mind and dream wanted his way to be the only way. Dream didn't need that apology yet he fought and twisted the situation. Apologizes aren't wrong but how can you get a apology from someone who believes differently. This is why dream believes Tommy's the key since Tommy was the one that awoke this idea in him and Tommy is also the one who encourages people to fight for that they love that's like Tommy's major thing. I do think insanity may have got to dream more recently but I think what got to dream was his lust of power and it was always there since the start if you start to look more closely. His drive to get what he wants just like Tommy but Tommy is more for a pride reason then dream is more for a control reason.

The real interesting contrast between Niki and Jack is so interesting, as their entire story arcs are, and I loved to see that moment where jack was truly the last one to hold on to the grudge.

The first time i 'met' tommy was when they, wilbur,tubbo and tommy were singing hamilton songs on a scene. I'm not even joking my first thought about tommy was "who is this kid he's so annoying?!" , don't forget that i started watching him and now he's one of my favourite streamers...

Honestly I love this so much I started watching around the election so I learned about the past events but it's always been very confusing not really knowing very much about everything although I'm planning on rewatching the whole dream SMP this is going to help a lot

When you think about the line “you wanna be a hero Tommy? THEN DIE LIKE ONE!!” But that line is more poetic than people think, Wilbur, he died by blowing up his own nation after realizing there could never be peace, and then schlatt, he was cornered after running away from the fight and then has the only heart attack on the entire server, but Tommy...he died from dream literally beating him to death with a potato, he didnt die like a hero, he died like something worse than a side character...
