This was my original comment on the Canon death vod vid and I’m putting it here as well: I... I-I just. Wow. I watched this live and was completely stunned at the end of the stream. Tommy and Dream's acting was on point and it was really interesting to see how the other members of the smp dealt with Tommy's death. However one question still remains, who will take up the role as the main character now? Fangirl-esque notes: -Jack's reaction was my favorite thus far. It shows how a villain, while not the main villain, is nothing without the hero. -Puffy's reaction was also very strong and I’m curious to see how the plot goes from her angle. -Sam's reaction was very strong as well especially since in Tommy's last days, he was with him. -Tubbo's reaction was very funny and I enjoyed it at the end where he said that Tommy would want to be clickbaited for views. -Ranboo's reaction was also good especially in Jack's stream where we get to see him place flowers in memory of Tommy. New M.C? -Tommy. We could just see him but as a ghost or something. If that’s the case I REALLY don’t want him to be like Ghostbur and would rather be his opposite. Tommy as a ghost where he's still himself would make for better content (in my opinion) and would create better character interactions. Maybe this seems biased because Tommy is my favorite character but I really would like to see his ghost haunt people and make fun of them or burn random things or take random items. -Both Ranboo and Tubbo. I feel like this would make the most sense and I think this would be the strongest play. Techno's new video even eludes to Ranboo being the new MC and the blood god is never wrong. -Puffy. She’s said that she doesn’t want to be the main character but that’s the first step in becoming one. I think her becoming the next one would also be strong but her as a main side character is also equally as strong. -Jack. Jack would also make the most sense in a way. We get to see him turn into a broken villain with nothing more to do. He also now has to run the hotel (or Sam Nook which would be even better) and all great villains have a place of operation. Him getting revenge on Dream for killing Tommy would be amazing for his character and I would like to see that. Like always, thanks for reading my long comment. I now have to tune into school.
