I hear you mate. Still in hospital from a crash on Sunday. Broken ribs, elbow and wrist. Ruptured spleen and minor kidney damage. Massive respect for the amazing NHS staff that have patched me up and looked after me. 🙏

Be amazing to ride some of those bench cut steeps. We don’t have stuff like that. Great content mate. Keep it up 👍🏻 and heal up

I had my first major crash around covid time, ended up with a broken hand for nearly 6 months was terrible. I came out the other side and I still love to ride, I just don't push myself beyond my confidence now. Some days I rip , some days I am a scaredy cat.

Hope you're healing well Tommy. Just seemed like a bit too much speed. Was a good rider you were following, and always tempting to go a bit faster for the camera. I also noticed rocks in some places can be very slippery. Parts of the Peak Distract where I ride rocks are pretty good. But I found rocks at Cannock to be a lot more slippery.

What have you done to your bars to make it feel and corner better? I think I am changing to rised bars burgtec 50mm and a shorted stem
@Coolcmsc23 күн бұрын
I don’t know what Tommy’s done (other than roll them back a bit). But I’ve just done exactly what you’re proposing and it’s fantastic on longer travel (170 and up). It’s rubbish for sitting down (weird), but once standing up and pointing down it’s amazing. Some say it takes the weight off the front. Well, standing, they’re wrong and obviously haven’t tried it. I say ‘do it!’ 😊
@raelcartwright198423 күн бұрын
@Coolcmsc well my bike is a large but I am a medium so I want to raise my handlebars sorten my stem get smaller cranks and that way it will lift me up and bring me in but I have also heard and seen someone riding down hill with a straight up stem with raised handlebars
