There's a big reason the Italian Mafia lasted and was 1000x more successful than these modern gangs. Hood culture promotes snitching on yourself, mafia snitching wasn't an option (before RICO). Not to mention, the Italian mafia was organized and structured properly, and they were in a sense a family. Gangs don't have any of that, very individualistic, leading to never ending betrayal.

gangs are not necessarily going to be operating in the same echelon as the mafia. I assume most gangs are street-level, doing dirt and trafficking proportional to the area that they control. Buying in bulk as much as they can afford, but lacking a significant plug. The gangs/organizations who can get a good wholesale plug will rise up in the drug-supply pyramid. The higher they go, the higher the risk, and the organized and structured groups are the ones capable of operating successfully at that level. IMO having a heavilly hierarchical structure makes it easy to cut of the head of the snake and dissolve an enterprise. Cartels in Mexico are now going a more de-centralized direction, using cells that only communicate with certain other cells near them. Similar to Algerian freedom fighters and terrorist groups.

It is literally a 3 second ordeal no exaggeration. That ATF guy was absolutely pathetic, I can train anyone in 10 minutes to be able to field strip a Glock in less than 10 seconds even if they have never touched a firearm before.

I had a speech class during my time at community college and we had an assignment where we had to read aloud and talk about a serious, non-fictional piece of work. For example I chose Maya Angelou's book and a particular chapter on her being questioned by some defense attorney during a court hearing on the man who sexually assaulted her. Anyway, I had a classmate. She was a short, chubby, black girl (not meaning to be offensive just trying to describe her). She had long black hair. She was incredibly nice, funny, and had an extroverted, outgoing personality so I had no idea what she was going to read. She chose to read a news article about her sister. Her sister was murdered by her boyfriend. I remember her reading that, and then recalling in third person in her speech her parent's reaction to hearing the news, like how her father was pounding the wall in anger and grief upon hearing it. Just like really vivid details. I never cried in any class ever, but it was super hard not to, I think everyone in that class cried silently. I'll never forget her and I hope she went on to get her degree. Stories like that are so sad, I hold tremendous sympathy for the father and mother of those two girls in this video. You hear stories like that in videos sometimes and it's just like whatever as you listen, but until you meet someone like that in person, it's hard to internalize just how sad it is.

I feel the same way when I hear progressive leftists talk about how they want America to be a communist country. I'm Cambodian, who's parents fled Cambodia with my siblings after spending 3 years in a slave camp. The Khmer Rouge communist regime took the lives of 1.3-1.7 million, 25% of the population. All that was done in 3 short years. I was fortunate enough to be born after the war in a refugee camp in Singapore. We lost a lot of family members. Every Cambodian you talk to has someone in their family that is still alive that survived it. They try hard to bury it in their minds because they don't want to remember it. They never understood what it's really like under communism and it pains me to see people in the freest country act like that. My parents love this country because of it's freedom, something they couldn't enjoy in their native country.

prostitution is actually a really messed up industry. young women grow up in an environment where they’re seen as nothing more as sex machines that exist for mens pleasures. education and legal ways to make money is so important man. the guy calling himself a “gentleman” needs a reality check. selling womens body and keeping the proceeds does NOT make you a gentleman. just because you make money doesn’t mean you have class

shut up they choose it
