Short summary: They dig a big hole, build concrete walls, add stairs, install pipes, make different depths in the pool, fill in the space outside the concrete walls with dirt, install more pipes, make floors, make the concrete look pretty, and then add water. (This is just for the pool)

Luk the pressure of the dirt against the walls is bad so it is best to fill it up as soon as possible. Also, the liner could get air bubbles which is why there was a vacuum on the right during the first half of the fill up

It happens. Naturally oil will seep past the seals and traverse through hydraulic lines to reach equilibrium. This is why all hydraulic equipment must be as flat to the ground as possible to prevent this. Both for safety and the life of the machine as it does put a lot of stress on the hoses.

Saves gas money for the mower. I wouldn’t have any grass if I could help it due to sheer cost and labor of lawn care. Lawn care has a reputation as one of the biggest cash grabbing industries in American history. Especially in places like California, where people pay extra money to have a fake lawn installed where it was meant to grow, water it, and then complain about being low on water in a desert.

Wow you guys in the US have such large gardens! I'm in the UK and have been all my life and I've never met anyone with a garden even near that size, mine is literally about a third the size of the pool and that's still pretty big!
