An Origins SMP comic in which Technoblade tells the truth to TommyInnit.
Wilbur is there to help though! (Techno was...a little bit cold). They're younger in this AU (Alternate Universe)
This is an Origins SMP AU, as I mentioned. In this comic SBI is canon, Technoblade, Wilbur and Tommy are Philza's sons. This is part 1 of 2. Wilbur and Tommy cannot fly, and Technoblade as well, of course.

Yes, but it’s kinda obvious in this comic Tommy’s a child child, and techno technically telling toms a part of himself (that he wants to use to be like their father (somebody he looks up to)) is unless, I do agree that the truth is 100% better, but techno could have said it in a nicer way. Let’s say, you’ve been practicing your whole life to be a big football player, but your just a tad bit too small. Then somebody who you would count as family, says ‘stop trying to reach this dream, your body is too weak to try’ you’d be obviously upset, and it’ll crush these dreams of yours, when if you had positive reinforcement, yes, you may be too small at this time in your life, but in the future you could fit the requirements! Or even in the future, you have decided you want to do something else, at least these dreams weren’t smashed, and you can look back knowing you was doing something you loved and enjoyed

I want a part where Tommy couldn’t believe it at first, but starts to say it to himself as a reminder when anything about his wings are mentioned. He repeats it so much that he starts to believe it, and tells others when they ask. An example would be: Phil: Hey Mate! Wanna go fly? I’m pretty sure I could teach you how to! Tommy: I can’t, my wings are useless.. Phil: *sensing a disturbance in the force* w h a t..? Tommy: but it’s ok! I’m sure one day I’ll be able to use them for something! *sad smile* Phil:… You continue the rest lol

I don't watch the Origins SMP very often, but I feel like this isn't very accurate to Techno. Like his entire character feels like he's just a funny guy trying to enjoy life, he's literally a bunny. He doesn't seem like someone to go and crush someone's dreams like that, and definitely not so bluntly like that. Maybe I just haven't watched it enough, but either way, great animation.
