I tried this mod so many times and I really like the idea of it and how it's made. But instead of having coherent icons that give you a good overview of what unit you're looking at, they use real life photos that are all over the place and I just couldn't get used to that.

The UI is really bad indeed, it is one of the main reasons i havent really played this mod, they need to change it. Like its hard to look at and the tech tree is even more awful, and the IRL pictures and all that is just confusing as hell.

@@america6498 Thats not the issue, it is how poorly done it is. Especially the tech three, instead of the normal pictures of the tech its a IRL picture. It is really hard to look at and the Pixel stuff they got going on is just bad, they could make it work but right now its too big and messy.

*cough* there is an option to disable historical focuses *cough* As with any mod, the best user experience tends to be one which is unrestricted as to what you are able to do. The people wanting to roleplay as countries biting their nails and never experiencing any war are a minority, and as such it makes sense that this mod has the ability for majors to start a third world war.

The mod would instantly become better if there was an option to play with with the normal UI. Before one of the mod's dick riders comes and says "bUt YoU gEt UsEd tO iT", sure, we all do, but holy shit that should not be necessary. There should be an option to play with the horrendous UI, or the vanilla one.

You get used to it, but you never like it, yeah. It's been compared to TNO's, but even TNO's is easier on the eyes, and feels more atmospheric whereas this one feels clunky. The main reason I don't play the mod is that it's hard to figure out how exactly to reach the different ahistorical paths, and those are what I play HOI for.

Tf you're talking about? they weren't fighting for ethnically pure Ukraine. Killing polish wasn't one-sided: there was near to 30 years of polish terror in Western Ukraine, + during WW2 polish partisans were killing ukrainians too. UIA weren't russophobic, rather antisoviet and they cooperated with Germany on the early periods of war, then germans decided to scum them and that's why UIA then would be forced to fight against both Bolsheviks and Nazis. Stop writing shit, especially when you don't know what are you talking about

Sources differ. It’s likely that whilst there were horrible people not everyone was a nazi. It’s important to remember Ukraine existed just about 20 years prior to WWII as a communist state. Ukrainians didn’t forget.

In kaiserreich almost every game was unic. You had so many options. Even when playing minor the owrld can be different every game . Also like for me they should make mod light it means less units building and other stuff. Because cold war was like 45 years.
