Merry Christmas!! In this video we go over the Li-Ning JB 2, second signature shoe of Jimmy Butler:
Cushion and comfort are top notch with BOOM, a carbon fiber midfoot plate, and BOOM Fiber for the upper materials. This shoe feels very nice and cozy on feet, with good ventilation, and the smooth ride almost feels more like a tennis shoe or running shoe instead of a basketball shoe… Landings can be unstable at times, and traction can be inconsistent on a dusty court. The JB 2 fits perfectly true to size and is wide foot friendly. Weight is on the lighter side as well.

The JB 1s gripped so hard that I completely destroyed my ankle 5 months ago. I guess the court was pretty clean, but the traction was definitely dialed to the max.

The first ones weren't great in a price/performance sense, but I have to admit they looked quite a bit more interesting than these. I suppose it's similar to the Tatum 1 and 2. I bet the 2s will perform better, but they don't look nearly as _interesting_ as the 1s.

It does look more stable on JB PE shoes, i guess the commercial pairs are a little “off” One big transition from jb1 to Jb2 is that the 2 is “wide foot friendly”. This can cause instability! Take the zion3 for is example, the fit is so narrow that its almost so hard to have stability issue, where as a wide foot friendly shoe can have stability issue! From the look of it, the jb2 looks almost like running shoes- which is PROFESSIONALLY made and engineered linearly! This mean that implementing the set-up into “cutting/pivot sport-such as basketball” require extra engineering factors to counter the lateral issue. And the safest cheapest fastest is to have “narrow fitting” lasts. So Jb2 with a wide-foot friendly is a risky move.

I have foot problems half my life not anymore. foot stability mainly comes from mobility and not lack of thereof. From the toes especially the big toe being able to move and do what they're supposed to do. snug toes feel secure but they don't make your foot stable.

Merry Christmas Tommy! I have a question. So I am not really sure what my tts is for basketball sneakers (I’m a 12 for most casual shoes) but I think I am a tts 12.5 and am looking to buy some harden 7s. However, 12.5 is out of stock and I doubt they will restock. Between 12 and 13, what would you recommend? Also note that I have medium to wide feet. If this helps, I recently purchased some Sabrina 1s in a size 13 and they fit fine now (perfect midfoot width) and would be perfectly fine for casual wear, but I feel like once I break them in, they will be a tad too big for a basketball shoe. This is also how I concluded that I think I am a tts 12.5. Help is much appreciated!

Hey. Tbh just based on my experience with this pair traction is average, especially against dust. More comfortable than the All City 12 that’s for sure, but overall I’d probably still take the All City’s - maybe wait for more colorways/discounts?
