In this video we go over the Anta Shock Wave 5 Pro:
Cushion remains at a solid level with the full-length Nitrogen midsole, but this time they reduced the thickness of the foam to make it very low to the ground - the result is a great court feel while also being very Kyrie-like compared to the regular Shock Wave 5. Traction is excellent, minimal dust pick up and the outsole should be good for outdoor use. True to size fit, but be aware of heel slippage, which is arguably the biggest issue I’ve had from my experience. Overall, this is a lightweight shoe for guards that give you good speed and agility: I would consider it a Top-10 caliber performer of the year.

There is a loop at the last lace eyelet, try lacing through that loop instead. My guess is that'll fix the heel slippage. Please respond if it worked! Thanks Tommy!!!

tbh at over $200 i’d expect these shoes to do all the shifting and jumping for me 😂😂 Anta always makes insanely great quality shoes though. I owned the KT3s back in the day and they were the most solid pair of basketball shoes in my rotation.

I think it would. Thicker or even double socks would be better than sizing down cause it is pretty snug in the toe box.

Yo Tommy Liu!!!! You got to get a half a size down in those and there won't be no heel slip. I know you don't like it but those have to be very snug in order to work right👍. I'm sure you know this and I know you're a wide footer but you might have to go as snug as possible so that has no sleeping in the heel

10 cause toe box is already pretty snug as mentioned. You can try to fix heel slippage w/ socks or like heel pads.

I’ve watched a few of your videos and, although I appreciate your insights on performance, I don’t agree with your sense of style. I think you’ve been deluded with the crazy variations of styles released over the last decade. I don’t blame you as I believe this is a common thing among the younger dudes in their 20’s - 30’s. They just don’t know what good design and style is because they haven’t gotten anything good from the manufacturers. The colors and styles released over the last two decades have been propagated with ulterior motives and aren’t representative of good design, per se. That said, I think an Asian dude can certainly rock a black-on-black shoe and make it look good. I think you’re reading too much into the fact that you’re an Asian dude. Not all Asians are the same. Style is about one’s personality, not race. Rock what you like and are drawn to and don’t apologize for it! Be confident in yourself and what your style is because you’re unique and there’s no other person out there like you, my dude. Keep grinding! 💪🏽

Sw5pro is very light, gives you good speed and no excessive weight dragging you down. Suited for faster play styles than the regular sw5. The traction of sw5pro new style triangle just like jlinsanity 2.0 same traction with sw5pro. Carbon fiber cushion. Minimum dust pick-up, the grip is nice and sharp and very squeaky also. Good for indoor and outdoor.

Love Kyrie and his anti-VAX stance. Still rocking his Kyrie infinite in black/ purple and opal. Beautiful. I would buy this pro version on looks alone. About the same weight as a PG6 but not near the Precision 6 ultra light weight level yes?
