This is a re-upload just to show those who have not seen it before.
I forgot to switch the points at the start and the cab hits the station canopy.

Hi Paul, when shot from very close your layout is even more interesting and beautiful. It really takes a mini cam to fully enjoy it! Thanks for this great video 👍

Hi Erik, thanks for the very kind comments, I have tried many times after this video to make a street by street film but not had any luck. At least when mounted on a railway wagon the camera works far better than being hand held. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏

@@paulvozman842Hi Paul, I have tried "streetwalks" too and it was to difficult to make z movements. I gave up and just made fixed position videos inside the streets, putting the camera somewhere in a street, a field etc and just watching the train passing by from there. It works very well, giving the feeling of a train spotter 😊

Hi Erik, I am considering doing the same as you by placing a camera on a station platform or at an angle as a Train Spotter would se the Locos passing by. I will do some experimenting and see how it goes. Cheers, Paul.👍👍

Hi James, it took many attempts to get this Cab ride to work. Apart from hitting the station canopy and forgetting to change the first points it wasnt too bad. I hope your Grandson likes the video it might give him some ideas. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏

Hello, Paul! And thanks for re-uploading this video, it is an excellent view of your layout and, in a certain way, it goes on the inner side of the train modelling - I mean, we use to watch train from an outside position, a birds-eye view. This video simply makes us locomotive engineers (just as the previous made us wagon passengers) and shows the same old places in a brand new perspective - which is fun-tastic! Hi Chris, I tried many times to make a close up video of my layout and in the end this one worked quite well apart from the Cab hitting the station canopy. I was surprised how good the picture quality was for such a small cube camera, only the volume is not so good. I have another video that you might like to see next Wednesday, it took me ages to get the effect I wanted. All the very best, Paul.👍👍🙏
