Hello, Paul! Thank you very much for another tour of your layout, there is the mood of train ride - either from the locomotive or from inside the wagon... This time I think you have used the Noch sound station (and I am glad you did it). Yeah, I know it's a re-upload, but I see it for the first time so... for me, it's a brand new footage, lol. I saw such a Noch station as a second-hand item to sale, but unfortunately it is too expensive for me. I wanted to use a buzzer (a simple electronic circuit - a buzzer and a switch, the buzzer hidden in a building on layout - to imitate the whistle of the locomotives, of course, the same pseudo-whistle for Diesel, steam or electric locos... not exactly a brilliant thing), but I saw some sound modules (relatively simple electronic circuits with a little speaker, you can record about 20 or 30 seconds of sound and then play), on China sites, I might try that. Hi Chris, thanks for watching and the very kind comments. Yes I used my Noch sound system it worked very well this time. I have some Sound Shacks that give a whistle sound and another I forget as I never connected them. Its a shame you couldnt buy the Noch Station, yes they are expensive I forget how much mine was I bought it over 12 years ago. I hope you try to make your sound modules it sounds a good project. Hi Erik, so sorry for not being able to reply earlier, its a long story but been ill for some time after returning from Germany in early April. I am grateful for your enquiring if I am doing well and how I am. I will be uploading some videos of my visits to the Technical Museums in Sinsheim and Speyer, I also had problems with my newest phone and lost some memory, luckily I took my old Samsung phone as well so got some footage. I bought a Fleischmann Steamer while there and will show that in a later video. You will see the same view from a real footplate in a later video which is almost the same as in thisTommys Footplate Ride video. Cheers, Paul.
